Yeah I might have to make my mage a punk rocker like gal and use this

If that damn mohawk was a bit taller though it wouldn't be so bad >_>

I think the problem is the face - her features don't work with the mohawk. When we get the CC I'll show you what I mean about making it work.

Yeah I'm definitely tweaking the mess out of the face. The default femQunari faces did nothing for me. XD

That's a really nice idea. The punk thing I mean. Does somebody here have pics from the horns?

Yeah that's my last resort. I think I could work with that. Barely.

Yeah here's all the hairstyles and probably most of the horns (might be missing a few hornstyles I'm not sure)

I think we should all tweet bioware or ask in the twitch livestream (going live in 30 mins) if all the hairstyles have been shown already... So we can confirm all this.

To be honest, I'm afraid they indeed have shown all the options (in which case I am horrifyingly underwhelmed and after 3?? years of development I don't really see a valid excuse)... YES overall the game looks awesome, but the lack of stylish and varied  hair options has been a repeated issue with bioware, so why would they think it still wouldn't be important now? I mean for those of you who don't care- that's great, props to you. I'm jealous even! But to me, and many others it obviously matters and is frustrating when we feel like we've been over this so many many times with the company.

So hey who wants to bring it up with me via twitch and twitter to get confirmation of these being the only hairstyles? Tbh I'd rather be disappointed about it now than the day of the game release (so I can focus more on loving it). lol idk :/

As far as I'm aware, they have shown all of the hair options for the female qunari and the male/female humans, elves, and dwarves. I think we're just waiting to see male Qunari hairstyles/beards...

Plus, they aren't showing off CC in this Twitch, so I doubt they'll answer CC questions :/

I believe we saw the male Qunari Mohawk in a screenshot.

Really?! Not sure how I missed it... I imagine the tiny mohawk looks a bit silly next to his massive horns, no?

Oh my bad- they'd done CC the last two, so I just assumed...!

Yeah I mean I feel like this is all there is, but I'd just like to confirm it now- so the disappointment of seeing it the day of relase won't be as fresh I guess? Though it'll still hurt ;P

It's actually much larger than the fem Qunari. I'm trying to find the screenshot.

The dude Qunari in that shot was surprisingly good looking.

I watched the new demo today and got sad that we seem to have barely any braided styles in this game so far. I got so used to them in the last 2, Cassandra's little braid and Josephine's bun are so cute... Yet we don't have too many really girly or braid detailed styles available if we really have seen all the styles we are getting at launch.

Also no real hairstyles with bangs either, just the one with side swept bangs. That put a damper on my Zooey Deschanel inquisitor.

I'm also really surprised that there isn't a single braided hairstyle since this was so common on previous games. I honestly don't understand how in interviews they say they have lots and lots of hair options when 70% of those options are super short manly hairstyles that are all very similar. Those of us who want more feminine hairstyles only have like a couple of options and even then they are so similar and bland and lacking personality. Where are the braids, the bangs and the cute chin length hair?

Yeah, for some it's just hair, but for others it's a big deal because we have an Inquisitor in your minds that we would like to recreate but can't because of the limited options and it's just sad because the CC looks amazing, but the lack of good hair is a buzzkill. Hair is pretty much the most noticeable thing on someone's appearance so it pains me how little attention it gets from Bioware. And I won't even talk about the Qunari hair because man, that is disappointing. Good thing I never planned to play as one.

I just wish someone would confirm once and for all if there will be more hairstyles at launch or not. And if not, I'm really hoping they will give us more if/when they release the black emporium dlc.

It's a problem with how Bioware creates the CC and the FPS engine. They had a similar problem in ME and it took a while to get longer hair options that functioned, an those were plastered on NPCs.

You're right. I just thought it was bigger. Memory played tricks on me.

But yeah that's the only tolerable hairstyle. IMO.

Thank you for the pics Ryzaki :)

And to the others - the issue is for most people a big deal, and the only thing we can do is to ask after it. I highly doubt they will do anything when we freak out. Just try and consider different styles then those you personally had in mind. If they bring new hair into the game, we all can be happy. But if they don't, you will still have a great character editor to make gorgeous faces. Seriously, your creativity can't just end with a bunch of hair, or can it? ^_^ I understand the need for it, I really do, but you sound like as if hair is the only way to decide if a character looks good or not. That's simply not the truth.

I am willing to consider different styles (thus my punk rocker fall back). It'd be a lot easier if the styles in general weren't so terrible though.

I like your idea very much Ryzaki. Was considering something similar, only a bit.. well.. "darker". Moahawk would definitely be one of my choices, but when I look at the horns, maybe it will even be without hair. Plain bald head with rich decorated horns ^_^ I'm exicted to find out what we can do with the editor.

True but it's my last resort. My first few playthroughs will be human females (Unf. Cullen. I mean it would've been hard enough picking femqunari even with good hair options but now? NOPE.)  and males then eventually a qunari male (since they actually look really good bald with horns) if there's still no extra hair options then my punk rocker plan will have to suffice. (I doubt I'll play her completely through though.)

In charachter creation screen Bioware went from bad to horrible.

Dragon Age games were saved by the modmakers.

Mass Effect wasn't so lucky. And now story repeats itself......

You not a big fan of Qunari in general? Well, they aren't even Qunari (and I'm extremely disappointed  about it). All a matter of personal preference. It's the exact opposite for me  Human will always be my last choice.

Well, like I said, hair determines how your character will look in the end. Your character can look completely different because of the hair. And the fact that not even one of those hairstyles come close to what I had in mind just kills it for me. Even the long ones, they are sooo dull I would just kill for one decent braided hairstyle or anything that has some personality in it.

I know they did great with the facial stuff in the CC but it definitely feels like hair was put last. I mean look at it in regards to the absolutely gorgeous environments and really great armor we've seen. The lack of detail on the hair we have now clashes with the very detailed face textures we have as options to choose from. (Which I'm so glad we do, nothing was worse than looking like an NPC in Mass Effect because of your bland face.)

Hair is one of the easiest ways to identify a person, and thusly the easiest way to express yourself. I don't like to think this way, but I can only assume the reason for the lack of more complicated styles with braids or longer hair was to simply give time to other things. (I dont want to beat a dead horse but I totally think all the effort for Qunari went into their horns)

That's why I really feel like getting DLC or a patch with more styles can help devs focus on more varied options for us. It allows them as much time as they need to tweak them and get them to their standards. Adding them to the Mirror for changing your face is the most logical tack on for them and they are both well wanted by the fans.

But maybe this is just me, highly mourning the fact I can't use that side braid option... Or braids in general. Braids just scream Dalish to me and as of now, we don't really have any styles that seem more natural...

I'm just happy they seem to have a few more options for my Black!Inquistor. Would have liked an option for Dreads or a high-top fade though.
