Has anyone considered what they'll do if their planned LI or the companion(s) they're the most interested in simply don't like their Inquisitor?

They mentioned DAI companions will react to the Inquistor's actions just like DAO Companions.
If they don't like your choices during certain story points they may turn against you. For example, if you choose to kill all Mages, Vivienne she will turn against you in a attempt to save them.
If they have Strong hate for your Inquisitor they will leave you or turn on you.

Hm...
Sad face then move on to my second choice.
If my second choice is a no go then
I guess it'll be time for an #AssQuisitor playthrough.

You're right, my inquisitor who will romance Cassandra is the Devil incarnate and my 2nd inquisitor who will romance Josephine is a bloodthirsty brute.

See who does like my Inquisitor and go for them? Or look up a guide online...

If I play my Inquisitor as I like it and the person I'm interested in truly hates me for it, we were probably not meant for each other. But I'm not planning on playing Assquisitor first.

If they don't like my inquisitor then I'll find someone else. Much like IRL, it makes no sense to get oneitis over one person when there's countless others available.

Assquisitor: So, Sera. Celene and I are going to kill a couple more thousand city elves.
Assquisitor: You cool with that?
Sera: *readies arrows*

Very true. Personally, I don't think my first PC's love interest will hate him, but who knows. Maybe they don't go for insecure types.
If it turns out one of my LIs doesn't like my Inquisitor, there are alternatives. I usually play my characters as bisexual to some degree, though they always tend to have weak to strong preferences for one gender or another.

Go with another LI. My inquisitor is adaptable.

If the character doesn't love my Inquisitor for who they are I think it'll make an interesting story. :3
I have 12 characters planned and 10 have romances that have been decided for them. If something goes wrong, then something goes wrong. I don't usually have my characters say things they wouldn't say to make someone happy.
Other than my 12, husband has 10 and only 4 have LI's.
As long as I can see all of them, I'm fine with it. Even then, if it's not experienced in game then we'll look it up on YouTube.

So? People won't be able to be asses anymore and still keep their pets around (no more crap like condemning some blood mages and still have Merrill or turning mages in and killing them and still have Anders)? That's great. Because that's how it's supposed to be. It should be natural that if you talk sh*t about elves Solas won't be amused or if you're against mages Dorian won't be.

Reloading. Flattery and sucking up. Buying their love with gifs-oh wait we can't do that anymore D: . Searching from forums what went wrong. Reloading some more.
I have had some romance fails in previous games and I don't like them at all. Sebastian in the DA2 (100% rivalry to complete romance? Just why??). Thane's in ME2. I hope it doesn't happen in the DAI but I'm worried.

Well........
I usually save before each convo so I'll reload if something like that happens. I don't care if it's cheating ;P
Haha, I do this all the time with love interests in games. However, I think whether a character likes you or not will depend on more than just conversations now. So, maybe that exploit won't be working as well this time around. >_>

This. One of my Hawkes was a blood mage who made Orana her slave, and was still able to romance Fenris. Gross!

Wasn't there an interview that said we could still romance companions even if they hate us?
