This breath taking art is seriously making me consider playing as an elf first!
I'm stocked, those graphs are just awesome! If I can have that much details in my outfits and character design, I'll be overjoyed! (especially if there is the same looking glass as in the black emporium in DA II : change your own face whenever you want)

I prefer more natural to the skin makeup. Dont like clowny effects, detracts me when too colorful most times and really pushes me away. Guess cause almost every lady in my family including distant cousins never wear colors that glow. As in example of OP's post, is more than what anybody I seen around me. If it blends nicely for them then its alright.... so mine will be closer to what would be natural for them when I create those ladies.

Do you mean something like this

Yeppers!
Some small eyeshadow shading is fine. Those are what I am used to seen all around where I live. Anyone that does wear brighter colors are in certain, um, locations...uh, sorry, dont mean to make everyone that wears more colors um....not sure how to even word all that. Sorry.
My first two characters are going to be male, so I won't be going crazy with the make up any time soon, but I'm still pretty excited about having more color options. My first Inquisitor is going to be a human male rogue, and I'm going to be choosing violet/lavender eyes for him. I got very attached to that eye color back when I was laying Mass Effect 1 and I was more than a little upset when ME3 took it away from me. Glad to finally have it back.
Boring answer, but... I usually just improvise with the options the game give me. Trying to plan a look is more often than not frustrating, because you end up lacking some options you suspected you'd have. At least, that's how I feel about making Soul Calibur characters. I think my best concepts come from playing with the options given.
Anyhow... some cool pics shown here. I'll show them to my wife.
She loves make up.
EDIT: having said that... I do tend to prefer non-obvious elements and colors. I'm more towards FFXIII, than FFVII, if you catch my drift. My friends pick the Soul Calibur creator and just use a few maxed out vibrant colors and lots of whites and blacks... so 90s. lol. And I'm like... "I'm past that phase".

I have to give a huge +1 to this thread in general. This is actually helping me generate concepts and ideas for some of my FemQuisitors.
Normally I'm kind of plain and natural with my characters. Simple but attractive. But seeing as we can change inner/outer iris color and the huge amount of makeup options (and seeing this) makes me want to do something really different.

I like this color scheme for a Cadash roguette. Specialize her in weapon poisoning and double daggers. My only changes is I'd make the eyes a deep, dark emerald color and opt for darker shades of green in general. But it definitely suits someone from the Carta, spooky, scary, and not the kind of person you want to see when you owe money to someone.

This would be cool for pretty much any Inquisitor really. Suits a necromancer mage, reaver warrior or assassin rogue.

Lavellan necromancer mage, possibly an adherent or admirer of the Dread Wolf.
I also liked the Adam Lambert eyeshadow for the gentlemen. Will admit I probably will not use makeup for male Inquisitors save for some eyeliner to accentuate their eyes (I often do that to make their eyelashes longer/pop out more), possibly a little bit of lip shiner to add a moist look to the mouth.
