I thought you said you were going to try a biotic class. I would think the Adept (and soldier) would have the most consistancy of all the classes across the trilogy.
First, a trilogy run with an Engineer. Next - Mass Effect 3 run with a biotic

Well, just my opinion, of course, but I prefer the Adept in ME2 over ME3, mainly because singularity in ME2 can be used to hold protected targets, unlike in ME3. Also, I had more biotic team mates to combo with in ME2 than 3. Thane and Miranda paired with an Adept Shepard make for a very good squad. In ME3 you don't get Kaidan until somewhat late, Javik's DC has a rather long cool down, and Liara is most useful with her singularity, leaving Shepard's singularity as redundant. (This is the main reason I didn't like the adept Shepard in ME3: Liara's singularity was actually better than Shepard's.)

I agree, my idea was to focus on Cluster Grenades and Warp with Barrier as bonus power. Slow cooldowns and dependence on squadmates. Will probably carry a heavy loadout as well
You know what, I'll start it right now! Will be the final playthrough before the trilogy ![]()

I was expecting part 2 of your adept today (yesterday or even last year now) but I see it's not up yet. I conclude two scenarios: One, you were busy because New Year's Eve; or two as much as you were having fun husk pushing, biotic explosions and powers just aren't as compelling to you as tech powers and you couldn't help but do another engineer. I know I have, inspired by yours and Capn's combat engineers.
