If they have another ME3 type ending, I will be very, VERY unhappy. Also, the lack of healing worries me just because I really liked those spells and were great in a pinch.

Also, and this is probably just me- if Varric goes after Scout Harding after not being a romance option for me, I am going to kick something. That would just be adding insult to injury.

I don't know why people keep bringing the red/blue/green thing up. Apparently DAO is a flawless, shining example of what a video game should be... yet you had zero agency when it came to the ending. You could decide which warden, if any, would die, and the epilogue would tell you things that happened off screen were affected by your choices, but otherwise the ending is just "You are going to kill this Archdemon."

I never used tatics in the game whenever I tried some glitch or other would happen and my party would stand around or go running off into another room leaving me to fend for myself. So I always just switched between team members assigned them what I need them to do and then go back to my character and unpause an let it all happen.

So to me Tatics isn't that important I'm just happy I can still use spacebar to pause the game.

I doubt this game will be as difficult as DAO. I mean I'm re-playing DAO now and has found that even on easy lvl you need to pause game and use tactics with strong enemies. I always was playing on hard but this time I just wanted more Roleplaying than fighting so I've switch to easy and still I can't win some fights without pause. Now after DA2 I don't think we will see similar difficulty in the DAI. And I can't blame BioWare for this. As they choose to expand their fan base and not to follow CCP way to focus only on hardcore fans of RPG. It's a sad thing but I can live with it.

Another thing that I don't understand is why almost all female characters don't have long haired hairstyles. I guess it's hard to correctly stimulate it inside frostbite engine or something but I wish I could see some female in the game with pretty long hair style. Funny way all your 3 fem companions have short hair (Cassandra, Sera and Vivienne) someone at BioWare has a taste for short haired women :D At least I hope I can create my fem Inquisition with nice looking long hair.

I'm just a little worried about them making the MP proggression too slow or annoying, in order to create demand for the micro-transactions. That would be terrible. But I'm hoping it won't be the case.

My only concern with inquisition is that I will be playing it on the Xbox 360. My concern lies in the fact that the game uses the new Frostbite system and I feel as though it was more made for the next gen consoles and high spec PCs. I'm concerned about the graphic quality and possible glitches and lag from playing it on an old gen console. There is no telling if the system needs to be marked down in certain aspects based on fitting it to the older consoles.

Plus - you had a lot more tactical options in DAO. I remember one particular scenario where my s/s warrior warden would swap to the crossbow and snipe certain enemies before entering the room. It was gloriously great fun to be able to do that.

The more and more i keep seeing these inquisitors that BioWare keeps making the more and more im afraid i wont be able to create a Inquisitor who i think looks reasonably good in my eyes. :( I know the CC is huge but im not really all that flattered by the creations i've seen. still 13 days until i know for sure.

It's something that people who don't "get it" will never understand.

DAO was not flawless, I've never played a game that was, but in addition to having my warden die killing the archdemon, any time I wanted my warden to survive, sometimes with romanced Zev sometimes with Alistair, sometimes just because I wanted to, I could 1) have Alistair do the DR; 2) have my male warden do 3) have Loghain kill the archdemon or even have Loghain do the DR.  My personal favorite was letting Loghain die.

ME3 had that sweet body that took a gasp and had 3rd degree burns with no acknowledged rescue.  Had no problem with Shepard dieing sometimes but the "good" ending sucked major.  Had to repurchase the 3 games for the pc so I could get the mod that added more ending options.   One thing it did though, I stopped hating the DR quite as much as I had before this.

I don't really have a worry  DAI.  If I did I wouldn't pre-order which I have.  I enjoyed both DAO and DA2 and I like everything David G has done.    But yes, I'll be very very irritated if I'm wrong.

The main problem with the "red/blue/green thing" wasn't what they were, I think, so much as how far they differed from what had been promised ("numerous" and "wildly divergent" are expressions I remember being used!) No one had a problem with the ME1 ending, as I recall and, like DA:O, that had only the one real option.

BW almost made the same mistake with DA:I, promising more than 40 significantly different endings at one point. Fortunately, there was a lot more disbelief to go around this time, and they quickly retracted that statement, admitting that there would be very little difference between most of them. People have become used to Lionhead over-promising, but from BW it felt like a huge betrayal.

But, hey, that's all in the past now. This one's going to be the bee's knees, the cat's whiskers and the dog's you-know-whats all rolled into one!

My only concern (albeit mild) is with the ending as well.  The ME3 strategy guide said there were 16 endings (or maybe 14, it's been a while), and there was really one color-coded ending.  Which would have been fine, if it was a good ending.  I don't have a problem with a single inevitable ending, as long as it's a good one.  I know that's sort of anathema to the whole role-playing experience, but it's a video game with set parameters, not a tabletop where imagination is the limit.

I learned my lesson with ME3.  My expectations are fairly mediocre, so I can't really be disappointed.  I can however be pleasantly surprised.

If it helps at all, one of the biggest differences between DA:I and ME3 is that DA:I isn't attempting to wrap up a trilogy.  I think between trying to wrap everything up and ME3 getting rushed, it led to a...less-than-stellar ending.   I've born that in mind while musing about the possible ending to Inquisition.  I'm glad that you're still looking forward to the game, despite some reservations.   :)

People harp on the red/blue/green ending because they were all essentially the same (until the EC) and yet the colors were such a visual reminder of the fact that they pretended to be differentt. DA:O gave us one ending, but didn't pretend otherwise--we knew we were changing small aspects of it, and we made that as meaningful as we wanted it to be.

I am, however, tired of people bringing it up here. Different team, different game, etc. I would be more worried about it having DA2's flaws, which was it feeling rushed (not a worry for me since we know they had more time) and the final fight feeling meaningless because instead of putting in nuance, they just turned up the EVERYONE IS AWFUL dial (still kind of worried about this)

Been playing swtor to kill the time and the one thing that has absolutely been killing me is screen shake. Want to use force quake, have fun while your screen shakes like a 9.6 earthquake is happening. Jedi Sage in the area, forget about playing until they leave. Ally wants to use abilities to aggro enemies over to him, have some more screen shake. Just standing there and your screen isn't shaking, we'll fix that and make it shake just for the hell of it. Hope you enjoy nausea wanting to puke after 30 minutes of gameplay.

For the love of all that is holy I hope Bioware doesn't add screen shake to this game, or at least adds a toggle to turn it off.

Do not worry its not that demanding for example the minimum on pc is for  1280 x 1024  and its low so trust me it will work for your xbox 360. Its not a demanding game and your console can you manage it well.

Do you have at least a 512 gpu? If you have that it can tough at minimum at smaller resolution.

My fears...

  • DragonKeep will either crash or not import you choices properly(or both).
  • The whole "No healing spells/potions"-thing will backfire spectacularly, thus causing BioWare will release a "Healing Spell/Potion" DLC three weeks later.
  • Qunari hairstyles will still be horrible and extremely limited and subsequent "Hair" DLC will follow.
  • EA/BioWare releasing DLC features that should have been in the game from the beginning.
  • Game crashing bugs and glitches.
  • This will be the ME3 debacle all over again.

fears i have not, but  huge disapointment i still have because of

1)"herald of andraste" thing..even for non-human even for mage and anti-andrastian, anti-Orlais chantry and templar person....better if we would be just lord/lady Inquisitor

2)Lelianna and Cullen and Cassandra as forced advisors/companions what the only ones we cant get rid of no matter what

3)have a very huge lack of non-humans, non-andrastians, mages females who are anti-chantry, templars in our companions...especially as li for straight males non-humans who have not even 1 non-human female to romance compare to straight females and gays with lesbians who have at least 1....it is even worst than in DAO, Morrigan at least was a total different and misterious person

4)forced to have 1  warrior and 1 rogue in party because now we not just cant unlock some locks but cant crush some stupid wall or gate what cassandra is bashing with her leg or shield and noone exept stupid warriors and rogues cant do this....screw the logic with physics

5)no blood magic but still having tempar spec(and again only for warriors as with reavers)

6)DAI was based on multiplayer and we still see that

Tactics, or the possible lack of.

I don't want my squad doing 'whatever', I want them to do what I've drilled them to do.

Fear: My brain is going to melt by replaying games ad nauseum waiting for this one.
