I see the requirement for the short hair so I don't just fault her on that. But I've seen enough army girls and to be honest there were very few I desired to know any more than to just serve with as needed, no more. Perhaps Cass will have a feminine side that she just haven't seen yet. Maybe we'll see I guess. Right now she's just pretty much all brass.

I could've sworn I saw a dev say she has a feminine/romantic side but she'll completely deny it lol

My Inquisitor will probably end up romancing his right hand.

That could be fun to explore then.

Fair enough. It's just I've seen a lot of comments about Cassandra's hair and how "unfeminine" it is. I just find it really sad personally - it's kind of like saying all short haired girls can't be feminine which is completely untrue - well that's how it felt to me sometimes. Regardless, I really hope Cass does have that side to her. It'd be fun to bring it out of her, especially in a romance.

Well nothing wrong with short hair in general.  I just associate it with a certain type of female military personnel due to personal experience.  I know there can be cute girls with short hair.  Though Cass really isn't that cute IMO.

Same. The character I have planned for her would love that she can both be strong and feminine :)
As for hair, I have a Mohawk and am automatically assumed a lesbian on spot. I may not be "girly" in the dress/skirt category but I still wear makeup and like to look nice when going out somewhere. :3

I'm glad you think so. Yeah, a lot of people do. It's an unfortunate stereotype but I'm not faulting you for that in any way! ;). I think it's protocol for both males and females to cut their hair in the military though, so the enemy doesn't use it to grab them from behind. Someone correct me if I'm wrong please!

Rock on girl! ;). Hahaha, yep people have sometimes assumed I'm a lesbian during the times I've gone out wearing jeans. Even disappointed a lesbian co-worker once. :( . (We're still good friends though  :)). Anyway I think we're going off topic here!

Maybe she comes across a rose or something, picks it up, examines it with a sad look and then drops it with a delicacy she doesn't show anywhere else. This could then lead to dialogue and then BOOM! Romance, similar to Jacks from Mass Effect 2.

Aww, thank you! ^_^
My bad for continuing lol XD

So I can attempt to get back on topic, I'll put some of my other Inquisitors LI's since I already said my first play through earlier.

Icyiel: Female Dalish Elf Mage (KE) is going with Solas.

Calin: Female Dalish Elf Rogue (Assassin) is going for Cullen.

Blinn: Male Dalish Elf Rogue (Tempest) is going after Dorian.

Vim: Female Qunari Warrior (Champion) is going for Iron Bull.

Adalwolfe : Male Human Rogue (Assassin) is going with Cassandra.

:D

I'm planning my first playthrough to be a male qunari warrior romancin Dorian (or IB, whoever clicks better with him).

My second will be a male dwarf rogue who will romance whichever one didn't romance the first guy.

My third will be a dwarf lady warrior who will either romance Blackwall, Sera, or Josephine (whoever I end up liking better).

If I haven't done an IBxMaleQunari playthrough yet, then I have an idea for a qunari Mage.

After that, who knows? That should get me through the holidays though!

Comparing her to Jack might be a fair comparison. lol I however did not romance Jack... But I am cool with the fact Cassandra is not a push over. I am sure she will have a tender side. if not? I guess we can duel. and then have some romance, J/K I liked her in DA II. so I am happy she will be a Romance option for my Rogue. and I am ok with her being the only option for me. I guess I could romance Josie too. But thanks for reminding me of Jack. she was something else. XD

Sadly no one I'm afraid.  Playing a straight male who wants a straight female, so that leaves Cass and well ... Cass just looks like a bad IMO.  Not just the haircut either, she's just rather plain looking and I would prefer someone that doesn't bark orders.  If you want a feminine straight female in this game you're just out of luck it seems.

Course I'll play many times through I suppose.  I'll eventually play a guy that likes ugly women in armor.

Behold perfection!

You forgot about this perfect lady.

She's not 'Straight' but she is available for straight male Inquisitors.

Bioware really outdid themselves this time. And in Frostbite3, everyone just looks so dang attractive.

I don't typically fuss over who I romance, I just let it play out naturally: who makes sense for my hero to get close to? That sort of thing. But this time around, I would be lying if I said Cassandra didn't play a part in my choosing to play a male Inquisitor. She is simultaneously exquisite and indomitable, like the quintessential diamond: sharp-edged, hard, yet incomparably beautiful.

TL;DR: Cassandra Pentaghast, because reasons.

And some people odn't like short haired girls. Thats there thing. I know guys who wont even talk to girls with short hair, or small boobs or even big boobs. Its just peoples tastes has nothing to do with personality.

And don't kid yourselves, women are just as guilty of this.

Girls with short hair are freaking hot as hell.  Extra point go to women who can pull off the pixie cut.  Not many can though.

Dorian and Iron Bull right away, both with male PC's.

I am super sad that Blackwall is not an option for gay Inquisitors.

Who will I romance? How about who will romance me? ;) Anyway, I had thought that perhaps Cullen or Blackwall, but... now, my plan is to wait and see who strikes my fancy once I actually begin the game.

With how it's looking for my straight male Inquisitors... their right hand. Unless Josephine ends up being worth the time.

For the women, Sera.

I'm planning my first playthrough to be a male elf mage with The Bull. Between him and Dorian I feel so spoiled when it comes to M/M romances, as none of them have ever clicked with me in the past. Both of them seem like such cool characters. (Them being pretty dang hot also has something to do with it ;)

Bull only won by a hair though, as I think a mage/qunari pairing will offer some very interesting interactions. And I loves me some drama in my love stories.

My second playthrough is currently undecided. I want to play as a female quizzie but I'm having trouble deciding between female human mage and Cullen, or fem qunari rogue and Blackwall.

Without a doubt though, my third playthrough will definitely be dwarf rogue with Dorian. They'll be badass mustache boyfriends!! :)
