I decided to have a look at the venue's website today and some things of note are that it has archery and some mazes there. It also mentioned jousting but that is only during the summer months. So I imagine some of the challenges maybe Archery and traversing the mazes. It has 2 mazes, a typical yew tree maze with 8ft yews making up the maze walls and the other maze is a 'Water Maze' in which it is set on some water with some stepping stones (more like paved slabs) and some of the stones can tilt and cause jets of water to spurt and so the object of the maze is to get to the center without getting wet
I imagine one of the challenges might also be the MP side of the game, although that would mean one of the members not being involved as it's a 4 player thing and the team is made of 5.

I suppose a hunger games style deathmatch would be wishful thinking on my part.

I think we would need more than 'travel insurance' if that were the case ![]()

To be fair we don't get all the good stuff US people do. Like decent Comic Cons.
I know, even mcmexpo is not that good.

Kind of surprised there hasn't been more said about this today actually. Yeah I know it's still afternoon over in Edmonton, but considering this is a UK residents only competition. Thought there might be more said about it by now, especially as the closing date is tomorrow.

Apparently it's super secret and only contestants with such secret abilities that they themselves don't why they are suited for it are welcome to attend this event.
That or the marketing division really thought people would jump at the chance to participate in something they have no idea what it's about. In which case I think the marketing division should lay off with the drugs. 'Tis bad, mkay!

And german-speaking countries get none of the good stuff. For example, remember the contest a few months back where you could get a speaking role in DA:I?
Only for countries like Canada, USA, UK, Australia...
I'm just a bit frustrated. There's rarely anything cool for Germany and Austria. Oh, and Swiss, I suppose.

Ugh more Twitter fodder.
Maybe I'm just the only person in the world who doesn't like Twitter.

Actually, they did also do one for Germany as well. I can't find any official posts about it but I do remember there being one for Germany too.

Besides, Germany gets the GamesCom, one of the largest video game trade fairs in the world and THE largest that can be attended by the public after E3 closed it's gates to the public, making it the world's largest video game event!
An acceptable trade-off in my opinion.

Chopping off people's heads maybe? Kent is really violent, trust me. I still have nightmares...

I can't believe that. We're not talking about Wales here. The worst thing you could possibly get in Kent is cold Guinness!

In wales the worst that can happen is you can get mauled by a sheep. In Kent... well, let's just say it's still stuck in medieval times.

I went to a Medieval Fair at Leeds Castle, which is just up the road from Hever, back in the summer, I didn't see any machete or pitchfork wielding mobs...think Kent countryside, very pretty.

The page has been updated with more information ![]()
http://www.dragonage...-and-conditions
"We’re looking for Dragon Age fans to join us at Hever Castle in Kent on Tuesday October 22nd for a real world test of skill, strength and teamwork.
You’ll be participating in the following events: Archery, Axe Throwing and the Boar Pull (not a real boar, but an iron one!) and competing against three other teams for a chance to win some exclusive Dragon Age: inquisition prizes. Each team will consist of one leader, plus five party members, and for each event the leader will select the team members they think will give us the best chance of victory. We already have the team leaders chosen, but do you have what it takes to ensure your team takes the swag?
Points will be awarded for each event and the two teams with the highest score at the end of the three events will face off in the final where they’ll have to build and fire a Trebuchet (that’s a medieval catapult to me and you).
The whole event will be filmed for future broadcast on Twitch and EA’ social channels ahead of the game’s release.
If you think you’ve got what it takes and are available from mid-afternoon on Monday October 21st until 4pm on Tuesday October 22nd and can make your own way to Kent then we want to hear from you.
We’ll be putting you up in a hotel close to Hever Castle on the Monday night and will arrange transportation to the venue. Dinner will be provided on Monday night, along with food/refreshments on Tuesday."
So there is still just under 6 hours left for people to send a tweet with the hashtag #DAITheShow explaining why you should be considered to be in the contest ![]()

Kind of surprised it's a boar rather than a bull. So much potential for a DAI reference there. I mean... think of the mayhem that would ensue... MAAAAYHEM!!!
