I have always played Mark of the Assassin in Act III, and usually after Hawke has met Leliana at the Chantry at the behest of Elthina.

Is there any difference in Leliana's dialogue if you play Mark of the Assassin in Act I, aside from not addressing Hawke as the Champion of Kirkwall and Hawke not addressing her as Sister Nightengale?

Depending on when it is played, that would put Mark of the Assassin at a time frame that is either just after the events of Origins (if played near the beginning of Act I) or the events of Awakenings (if played in the middle or end of Act I).

I'm assuming the answer is no, her dialogue is much the same and her reasons for being present unmentioned, even though Leliana would be in a much different place in life in the timeframe of Act I than she would be in the timeframe of Act III

the thing that interests me most is why does she even is on that 'Party' or whatever it should be after all god o'l Teagan is there as an ambassador, if im correct?, shouldn't he be a bit more important for travelling thousands of miles from ferelden to be on a party of a distant relative of celene O.o and why is arl eamons wife there to?? (when she survived origins)

The Dialogue doesn't really change aside from Hawke not knowing who she is and Leliana not referring to Hawke as the Champion. I'm can't remember if you can ask her if she is the Leliana that traveled with the Warden during the Blight (like you can in the Exiled Prince Act3 quest).

No matter what act you go in, Leliana is always there as a spy. Even in Act 1. The events in Kirkwall by the time they allow you to access the MotA is one year after Hawke arrives there. The Blight is over, and at the end of the Blight all the Wardens companions go off to do their own thing unless they're your romance partner. Even though, if you go by Bioware's timeline, the Divine Justinia  isn't made Divine until about 3yrs after the Blight. So who she is there to be spy for is unknown really (perhaps the Divine before she became the Divine and was simply Revered Mother Dorethea?)

As to why Isolde is there... *shrug* who knows. I think they just put her there for an annoying factor (well, she was annoying to me anyway. Coming over complaining about what some other woman said about her while I'm in the middle of a conversation with Teaga. Rude much)

I usually do the dlc in Act 3 after meeting Leliana.  I'm curious about her and Talis. Wonder how they know each other?

They probably met while Leliana was barding in Orlais. It wouldn't be too far fetched I'd say.

Hello!  I've played MotA both before and after the Faith quest.  The dialogue is different in MotA, but very mildly.  If Faith has been done before, Hawke addresses Leliana as Sister Nightingale, and Tallis expresses surprise that they know each other.  Otherwise, Tallis expresses surprise at running into her, and it's Hawke that's confused and out of the loop.

I don't recall any dialogue differences in Faith, though, if you've met her already.
