Male Human Necromancer/Knight Enchanter?

 

One of the two.  KE doesn't look as fun as I was imagining, so I want to see how the Necromancer plays.

I was going to go with a female elven tempest as well, and I'm playing ffx had on PS3 atm and I've always been a big Rikku fan.

Tempest sounds cool and unique to play as.

Definetely human male. But Gottfried Trevelyan can't decide whether to go as reaver, tempest, assassin, knight enchanter or necromancer.

Female Elf Mage. 

 

I'm not too familiar with the specializations, so I'm not sure what combo I'll use.  I know a lot of people saw Mike Laidlaw on Twitch yesterday and he spoke a bit about the benefit of Knight-Enchanter.  Today I see a lot of people choosing Knight-Enchanter.  I hope there are other effective choices that might better suit each person's play style.

Hello amigo. So, courtesy of some well-placed information from the wonderful www.dragonage.com  here are the current listed Specilizations per class

 

Rogue

- Artificer

- Assassin

-Tempest

 

Warrior

- Champion

- Reaver

- Templar

 

Mage

- Knight Enchanter

- Necromancer

- Rift Mage

 

Also, brief overview descriptions do give you an "idea" in a broad sense of what they "specialize" in.  Just go to the Inquisitor tab and enjoy!

Knight Enchanter's looking pretty good, although I'd still like to learn more about the Tempest spec before I choose for my first playthrough

Freya Trevelyan

 

Human Noble, Female

Specialization: Templar

 

Freya was trained from birth to honor the Trevelyan duty of piety to the Maker. Nevertheless, recent events like the collapse of the Circle Towers in Ferelden and Kirkwall have shaken her faith somewhat. She had friends in Kirkwall who were killed by Merediths fanatics, after all. The ending of the 5th Blight by a Spirit Warrior turned Queen, in particular, has troubled her deeply. What place does the Chantry have when it takes apostates, heretics, former Templars and a Spirit Warrior turned Queen to save the world from monsters?

 

Magic is meant to serve man, and never rule over him. She does believe these words, and does not take her Templar training for granted. It will be needed for the terrible trials ahead. But demons are the problem for now, not mages.

Oooh my gooooddd... I don't know why I never thought of it - I'm totally going to create FFX characters now... !!!! !!!! Thank youuuu ~

Oh, right. and OT: 

 

1st playthrough: Human Male Mage Necromancer (if it's really supporty- if not..I might not take a spec)

2nd playthrough: Rogue (Archer) Female Artificer

Dalish mage with a chip on his shoulder, so whatever spec fits that. Maybe elementalist?

Probably a damage-oriented Champion or a Reaver.

I originally planned on going with a DW Tempest/Assassin first, but I'm not too fond of some of their animations.
