They have no upper body or arm muscle now (it really shows in the narrow shoulders they now have). And they looked like the same race as male dwarves in DAO. Now, they don't. If you didn't know there weren't hobbits in the game, they'd be much more believable as female hobbits. The new build is fine...if you want to play a dwarven rogue. Not terribly believable as a warrior unless dwarven women have some magical upper body strength.
It bothers me most because they haven't given us any choices for playing a female in DAI. Sure, you can be a female with any class, but you have to play a body type that's clearly slender-to-delicate for your race (except elves in which both males and females are slender) AND just to nail the point home, you have to run like you're more concerned with who's watching than running in a practical way (which seems to be minimally emphasized for a female dwarf, which helps a little). Kind of makes RPing anything other than a very conventionally feminine Inquisitor a lot more difficult. Presumably, anyone good enough to be a warrior or rogue inquisitor in Inquisition is the equivalent to a professional athlete, after all. They should look and move like one, at least in the field.
I'm already doing a certain amount of eye-rolling at things like the priest with the catwalk strut. That's so wonderfully dignified for a presumably powerful woman...
I solve this by not paying attention to running animations. I didn't even notice Hawke's hip movement until someone pointed it out.

Woah, who is she?! An attractive female dwarf is a welcome change. Someone please tell me I can at least cuddle with this adorable bundle of murder!
I think she just convinced me to get early access through EA... ![]()

I can't ignore them because you are looking at it all the time. Unless you have someone else leading your party. Maybe that's the answer, sigh. To me, it tells me that my female characters aren't serious and aren't supposed to be taken seriously since their minds are on being watched and not doing their job (I wouldn't mind it nearly as much if it was used only in the cutscenes in camp/strongholds where being alert and surviving aren't necessarily the first things on your mind, but ironically that's the one time you don't see the animations). It's not nearly as glaring in this game, but I'm hoping I can hide it with loose armor and clothes. Probably not since they seem determine to force it on us (sad since Leliana has a much more bada** animation that I would LOVE for my female inquisitors).

Harding is awesome, she continually cracks me up. CAN NOT WAIT to actually have free time (Ironically, I can't play the game because I am too busy selling it), so that I can ACTUALLY SIT DOWN AND MARATHON! *plays trumpets* Wait is almost over.

Harding should have been a male dwarf-only romance, that way Solas could have been the female elf only romance. As it stands, female elf gets all the romance content (except for two anyways).

Sorry for Double post, but, Sera and Harding should have gotten together if you did not romance Sera. Would have been funny to catch the two in the act (like a cutscene or something).

Went dark until a few days ago after I beat it, totally worth it. Spoilers are so easy to come across, especially for someone as curious and weak willed as I. Harding is adroable, and the voice actor was really fitting.

I have no idea why they didn't make Harding a romance option...theres just hits of a romance in the game. Why not make it a full romance? We can only hope she'll return in the next game as a companion and LI.

Finding gifts for the Inquisitor, nervous stuttering.
I swear, Scout Harding is five second away from shouting "Please notice me, Sempai!" In Jaws of Hakkon.

Every time she popped up and did that in JoH I went "Ohmygoshisthisit?" and every time I left a little dejected by the lack of heart icon.
