Yeah well you must remember that dwaf eggs have to be dipped in lava once a day to keep them until they hatch.
One of Oghren's finer moments.

Please let her be romancable. Ever since Mike Laidlaw's release of the romance details within the inquisition, I've been looking for good romance options outside of the Inquisition. And she seems awesome!
She's not
I loved how she just killed both the mage and the templar. Like, "Get out of my way I'm on a mission."
You know, I'm not sure it was necessary to intervene there. Neither mage nor templar were threatening her. I think she killed them because she just wanted to.
Her mission was to guard the cleric. Fighting in the area could cause trouble for her, so Harding intervened. I wouldn't classify her as some sort of murderer for fun based on that.
Yeah, but the templar would probably have killed the mage, or vice versa. It would have been smart to just wait and pick off the survivor, but she killed them both in the middle of their conflict.
I guess it sort of demonstrates how Harding (and by extension, the Inquisition) aren't necessarily on anyone's side, but given what else we know about her, she strikes me as a vicious little sociopath. Cute and quite personable, but vicious all the same.
She is voiced by Ali Hillis.
Sadly.

Better to hit them while they're distracted fighting each other rather than waiting for them to be able to concentrate on her, that would be my guess.
I think "vicious little sociopath" is a bit - no, a lot - of a stretch at this point. Bearing in mind we don't actually know much else about her really.

They were all conducting themselves in an unlawful manner. The Inquisitor probably would have ended up killing off the survivors of that particular group anyway if she didn't.

I personally would not have killed the mages. Unless they attacked me and they were the kind of enemies who die after you beat them instead of the ones who just pant and monologue.

The mages in the Hinterlands do not deserve any more (or less) mercy than their Templar adversaries.
They can choose to submit, beyond that they will be given an outlaw's sentence, in accordance with the manner they have chosen to act.

You're free to choose your own allegiances. My choice will be different from yours.

Depends on if either group in certain areas give you the choice when they attack you first.

The report said that the mages were attacking anything that moved...

From the demo, it looks like both mages and templars will be attacking the Inquisitor and co. on sight.
I think it will depend on the actions of your inquisitors. If you manage to befriend with one side or one another, you may be not attacked by then and if you manage to solve the war and reconcile these two groups, it is possible to have them as allies.

Yes, the report implied the mages were slaughtering non-combatant locals as well as Templars, and that the Templars weren't much better, if at all. And we have no idea what evidence Harding found going in to support that. Harding was sent to try to protect Mother Giselle (sp?). She did. I'm generally pro-mage, but the second they start harming someone who is a non-combatant, they've lost my support. Now, she may turn out to be a "vicious little sociopath" but so far, I've seen nothing except a scout leader doing her job, and doing it well.
There will be several DAMP dlcs adding more characters for multiplayer scout missions.
How would people feel about Scout Harding joining the ranks of playable characters for DAMP?
I was screaming at my monitor during the twitch stream today. How DARE they show Harding and not talk to her. Uggh. Today was awesome. Especially a certain chess scene and that amazing intro music from the DAI OST.

I was screaming too
"What are you doing?! TALK TO HER FOR MAKER'S SAKE!!!"
At least Harding will be in Skyhold between missions. I hope we'll be able to regulary talk with her - and maybe even flirt ![]()

Mmmm yes. I can't wait for this freaking game. (Is it right to call it a video game? I think it's past that point)
The tears started flowing when I heard the bard in the tavern though. I can tell where I will be spending my time. I'm a sucker for bards.

I fully understand the bard thing (I loved the song in the tavern too!) - Leliana singing in the camp was one of my favorite moments of DA:O.
And don't let me even start about bards and their songs in Skyrim (Mulakah's cover of The Dragonborn Comes is one of the most awesome stuff I have ever heard)
I don't know how will I survive a whole month - I need DA:I now!
