Its too late for me. My hype level has reached critical levels and is now growing exponentially by the minute. All DA:I info be it streams, articles, youtube videos, fanfics and all else is being consumed by the black hole of hype - all waking seconds is spent thinking about DA:I in an all-out obsession that defines my daily life. Expectations and anticipation for the game is now at such levels that they radiate through conversation with friends in the form of Hawking... I mean Hawke radiation.

Anyone else in the same boat or are there actually people out there still able to maintain composure? :P I had to make this thread not to spend the time IRL pacing around the living room fantasizing about DA:I.

After ME3 I decided not get hyped again and so far it has mostly worked. I guess being a bit apprehensive about the story helps.

Having said that, almost everything about DAI looks fantastic. At this point, only story and roleplaying aspects have the potential for significant adverse effects on my enjoyment of this game.

I'm excited, but I'm not exactly "hyped." My interest has been very divided over the past while, so I find it difficult to get super-excited over one thing in particular.

Yeah, I've gotten way too excited now. I can't wait to access the Keep and go through all the choices (even though I have recently completed a playthrough of DA:O, DA:A and DAII for about the 10th time). Any and all news, updates and videos I NEED to see. Haha!

Not really. Everything I've seen so far have elicited nothing but "Hmm. Yes. Nice. We'll see." from me. I think there two reasons I've kept my composure: 1. I've been spreading the hype around to other games, most immediately Dreamfall: Chapters and Civilization: Beyond Earth. And 2. unlike the Mass Effect games, I've always had very high expectations of the Dragon Age games, so everything announced so far are always matched against those sky-high expectations. As such, it is extremely difficult to exceed those expectations, if not outright impossible, hence my rather muted reaction. However, unlike the lead-up to DAII's release, all the announcements haven't sunk me into the depths of despair either, so that's good news.

Yeah, I've plateaud (plateau'd? platowed?). I've pretty much seen what I've wanted to see from the videos. I've seen the skill trees, I've seen a lot of gameplay, the specialisations, ... Nothing much can really bring me to higher levels of giddyness.

So I'm pretty much just going to sit out the next month playing destiny and pretend I'm playing DAI. I don't even want to see the nex videos anymore.

I can only say, what a contrast to the pre-release time of ME3.

ME3:

"I'm worried about X".

*Developer says something vague*

"You know, that's not exactly reassuring"

*script is leaked*

"You can't be f****** serious!"

*developer says it's an old script*

"Well, it can hardly be worse, so let's hope for the best"

And the game came out, and it was worse.

DAI:

"I'm worried about X".

*Gameplay/demo/info video comes out*

"All right, that's really nice. There is this minor thing about Y though"

*next video comes out*

"Well, that looks *really* awesome. The only remaining point is Z".

*next video comes out*

"Wow, that's impressive. OK I get the picture. I'll shut up and wait for the game"

I have the distinct impression DAI will be great. If I'm going to be dissatisfied with the story, it will most likely not be because it's a bad story, but because it simply goes too much against my preferences in stories.

I'm not your level of hyped (I can't produce black holes), but I'm excited for it. Definitely.

I'm concerned about a few things (the delaying in the conversations in the twitch stream earlier), but it won't be enough to make me cancel my preorder or anything :P I know nothing is perfect, and you can't expect perfection. Everything has its flaws. I liked me3, and DA2 just fine. And if I liked those... then I imagine I'm going to like DA:I.

I don't really describe it as this excitable hype at this point.  I've ha this weird sense of reversal going on in that in waiting for it I'm becoming apathetic about everything in life.  No kidding...and I work as a psychiatric nurse...have to have nerves a steel in my profession.

The most recent video I did give myself the luxury to see cause I wanted to see the product function a month away from release.  Impressive and I'm just getting excited just to travel to Thedas again.  So...to calm the nerves I figured playing the previous two entries would suffice but they seem to create this lull I'm in of apathy of just wanting Inquisition.  I figured its reached a point where I need to step away and just go cold turkey.  Hibernate and before I know it November 18th will be here.

Any ideas when Keep should be released for everyone?

About sums it up for me. I'm hyped, and admittedly I was hyped for DA2 and ME3 but I also had this nagging bit of dread in the back of my mind. I don't have that this time.  The ad campaign has been not offensively stupid, they don't beat on things no one cares about, like in Mass effect 3 where they kept talking about how the story adapted to you if you didn't play the first two, there's no rather suspicious lack of detail like with DA2. It was in no way rushed. The enivormental variety is impressive, etc.

I'm actually past it. I'm still very excited and I wish the game release right now, don't be mistaken. However, that time I couldn't thing about anything else and thought my head's gonna explode is gone. It's kind of relieve. My expectations were also driven down, so there's less risk to be disappointed in the end :)

EDIT:

Good point :D

There are some parts of this game I'm still nervous about, but I've adopted a 'wait and see' attitude about it.  It may prove I love it.  I may feel 'this stinks on ice'.  I won't know till i get it in my hands and play.  That's just a month away now.  Try playing something else for a bit.  It's hard for me to focus on one thing since I've been enjoying Sims 4 and WoW's new expansion is due out also in November.  And I'm waiting for my new video card to get in so I can play Inquisition.  Hard to get excited when so much else is going on for me all at the same time.

My max hype was a few months ago.

Now I'm just watching whatever new videos they release and such, but I'm at a point where I'm just ready to have my hands on it so just waiting.

Since BW is doing a tremendously brilliant job of smiling away pretty much all worries I can possibly have with each new stream/demo/whatever, I'm way more hyped for DAI than I ever expected to be. And that's not a good thing, because now the other two games I wanted to play to kind of bridge the time, seem so... 'bleh' in comparison lol.

While I like discussing the game and the info, I still don't care much about it. I won't preorder and unless something drastically changes I will wait till the price drops. I like rpgs so eventually I'll play it anyway. I've certainly played worse.

The only other game I seem to be able to play for any length of time atm is Diablo 3, and that's just because I can hop on, do a rift or two and then logout to keep my eye on DA:I, I've never been a patient person really.  I have a big thing coming up on the 25th and I feel ashamed that I'd much rather play DA:I than do it haha.  In fact before the delay I wasn't going to do it so in a way I saw the delay as a kind of weird blessing.  "Hell no!  I can't come and meet you lot I'll be playing DA:I, are you insane?!"

Trying so hard not to get hyped, still devour most of the content. I think I might watch the hero trailer tomorrow and try to go cold turkey until release. Probably won't happen.

I try to stay away from "hype" (not that I manage it too well) ... ME3, DA2 and some other game, at present, cured (partially) me of "hype". "Hype" surrounding  a game is making me more apprehensive towards the game (aka want to play less and not more) at present :(.
