100 pages is still quite fast, and it's good to see another person who likes books! At 100 pages a day, the story probably stays fresh in your mind longer. I can recall major plot points in books I recently read, but minor things get lost in the avalanche of information. I started reading heavily around 10 years old, and it has stuck with me since. While I don't read as much now, I read faster than what I did then. Harry Potter books would take me 3-4 days to read for the ones with less pages and up to a week for the thick ones. The only thing is that the books have to be interesting, and their plots have to progress at an average to above average rate. Books with slowly progressing plots take me longer to read, and if they aren't interesting I struggle to get past the first hundred or so pages.

 

On topic:

 

My favourite genre of films are contradictory. I enjoy watching both horror films and animated films, such as Disney, Pixar and Dreamworks films.

To myself I'm not weird, but to everyone else I'm the biggest weirdo around. I enjoy cross-stitching, cute plushies, and JRPG characters. At the same time I love hockey, lifting weights, and work as a bouncer at a strip club even though I loath what that scene does to people. My upper body is roughly 80% covered in tattoos's, so I get labeled a thug even before anyone takes the time to get to know me. I hate preconceived notions, but that's the human race for you. I'm a social group of one.

My friends and I make fun of bronies a lot even though I am a fan of the show. (say what you will on that one)
I was the first kid in our school to get first in a chess tournament, but I finished last overall for team stats...
My 8th grade principal said I was going to be a failure
I used to chew on everything and sometimes I still chew on weird things
I have a constant lust for knowledge about America's past enemies (mostly the Soviet Union)
I own a Confederate hat and flag even though I don't support the views and I have no southern pride
Every single time I have bought a console, less than a year later the new version is announced
I have no idea what to do with my life after highschool (possible historian but too much work)
Lastly, I wear my Korean War jacket to school whenever the situation calls for it

Writing's a whole other subject(84 WPM), but I take a while for reading, somewhere around a minute-ish per page? Much like my sister, I get ADHD while reading and lose focus...which doesn't help. :|

Lol, there isn't a lack of material on that. As long as it isn't a constant barrage, that sort of thing doesn't bug me much.

Same. Many of the Forced Lit thrown to students in Middle and High School didn't work for me at all. Both reading and writing have become a notable hobby.
