Very good memory, although being able to remember stuff from childhood is really quite worthless.

Was voted most quiet person in my high school class though I don't think it accurate. Was also considered class history buff.

My eyes are screwed up in some manner where most ophthalmologists don't want to risk laser surgery.

When I was a teenager I had a problem with my back getting rather severe scarring that is rare for my ethnic background, no history of them in my family either. Don't know if that would occur again if I had a bad enough injury or surgery.

Never seem to remember my dreams for some reason. The few I do are just boring.

A lot of people think I have a foreign accent or something, so much that I've just lied about where I'm from on several occasions.

Yes yes, and supposedly you're some ultra-feminist who appears to always desire to be the center of attention, I'm glad we understand each other.

I have a solution to that that works 100% of the time. Wake up in the middle of your dreams.

How do you manage that? Set the alarm for some ungodly hour in the morning?

Oh do go on, you already started with the whole "you say that because I'm a strong woman" line of reasoning. That isn't the reason but I won't let that disrupt a good rant.

May i ask you something? Why so douchy? AutumnWitch is one of the finest user around here. She's a homosexual, She really doesn't need men. And she has never actually said anything about being a feminist.

Psychologists and neuroscientists interested in sleep have run numerous studies around dreaming. One of them was to take people that said that they didn't dream, and then wake them up when their brain waves reported that they were in REM sleep. They suddenly reported that they finally remembered dreaming.

Of course, then there's the borderline torture studies where they made sure that people couldn't enter REM sleep by waking them up as they entered REM sleep. They ended up spending more time in REM sleep than "normal" sleepers which indicated that REM sleep is required for the whole "regenerative" sleep thing.

Another weird habit of mine is to go off on random psychology tangents.

Sadly, I do find myself waking up mid-dream due to my alarm waking me up at hours I'd prefer not to be awake at. Even more sadly, I'm referring to 9:26 am at the earliest.

One snide remark deserves another, and her response to that was so very typical of individuals I've encountered in the past that I was hoping for her to behave in a similar manner to them. Why? Because it's always an entertaining display. Especially once they get to the part about how terrible and oppressive I am, or how an entire class of people are out to destroy whatever cause they've affiliated themselves with. Unfortunately her recent responses are just boring overused images and clips. Quite a shame really.

I'm weird so I must contribute!

I watch Strike Witches and enjoy it even though I know it is awful in a lot of areas.

I study Soviet history.

  • I think my teachers think I'm a Communist (I'm not)

The more friendly I become with somebody the more I feel comfortable to swear at them xD (Stole this from simfamSP)

I am addicted to cola.

  • As if the name didn't imply it.

I'm kind of open with things that would bother most people (Again stealing from simfamSP)

I spout random German from song lyrics when I'm angry.

I spend to much time on bioware forums...

Such a thought-provoking and involved notion indeed. So, weird things about me. Or, what makes me weird.

Well, if I look at the contrast of how most of the current 21st century masses act, compared to my own persona, then I would have to say the following attributes may just make me insufferably "weird":

- I actually believe in honor; not as an abstract that sounds "cool" to use when describing oneself against a level of honesty they don't actually possess

- I actually believe in being accountable for myself.

- I have the worst habit of being able to think for myself, even more so for wanting to base decisions on facts and reason and not biased, over-hyper emotional response.

- Oh man if this isn't the worst, but I still value giving people their own chance to prove they are epic and awesome or complete wastes of meat and air, rather than pretending that a few previous examples are enough to justify that the WHOLE "group" suck bouncing balls.

- I was not manufactured with the optional filters to kiss ass or sugar coat. I simply was not programed to perpetuate a persons need for constant sympathy,  nor to feel sorry for professional victims who expect EVERYTHING to confirm to them, and I be damned if I just cannot bring myself to jump to the blind aid of someone who insists on screwing things up for other people, then cries when they don't get the result they wanted.

- I never cultivated a comfort for being dishonest when it suited me. Gosh darn it to hells of holy ninjas if I simply cannot lie to you, just to make you feel better about how you refuse to see the truth cause it doesn't make you seem like the shiny, happy person you so desperately wish everyone else saw you as!

- I found an uncontrollable urge to actually master the art of wielding the Japanese Katana.. because it is utterly the most elegant, beautiful and now fully impractical weapon to have mastery of ( that is.. until the Zombies come!)

- I have a border-line obsessive but epic ultra-mega-action need to have the coolest (relative to what I think is cool!) collection of Batman stuff! This also bleeds into lesser categories of awesomeness such as: 1) The G.I. Joe character Snake-Eyes 2) The Thundercat Character Panthro (original 80's only!) 3) Iconic cars used in movies or TV and 4) Generally buying any cool Blu ray boxset of a movie that I really like that has a cool collectable with it!

- I find that ignorance is grating to the nerves in general, but at least tolerable because one can possibly learn and then no longer be ignorant. But, I have zero tolerance for ass monkeys who have climbed to the very top of their idiot tree, stood at the top jumping and hollering to be loudest cause they feel they have to be heard, then fall and hit every branch on the way down.. and yet, once they hit the ground, are STILL oblivious to their own stupidity and fear of the unknown!

So, revealing all that, I stand by the assertion that I am very weird! and so Bat-proud of it! :bandit:

So, geek-out! Party like a rock star and kick a 'lil ass! Rock it like a porn star and slap a 'lil ass!

Oh please even playing around saying you want to "murder" everyone one isn't droll at best or disturbing at worst? GMAB. Go back to your dark den of broodiness and come back when you're ready to be a grown up.

Being weird... is not so weird, is it?

On these boards, being weird is more of a prerequisite. :P

You're a Skylar Approved user.

I love the night...

...and the night loves me right back. I get asked pretty often how I manage a nocturnal sleeping habit. It's pretty simple - sleep 8 hours, be awake 16, and keep a routine for it.

I really loathe rudeness.

Same - I've only 2 pet peeves, and that's one of em'.

Other weird thing about me... I once did my own live rendition of MJ's Thriller for my sister to cheer her up. Also once dressed up as Miss Cleo for a film my siblings and I made. I was like 12 when I did it.

Speaking of the night and nocturnalism, It's 6 A.M. in here and I need to go to bed soon. :D I can't really bare diurnalism, It gives me deperssions.

One more weird thing about it: I believe in keeping your inner child, My thoughts and prinicples have always been the same ever since i can remember. With More "Questions of existence" answered to improve my creed of thoughts.

*Questions of existence means philosophy. It was a label said by Legion in ME2.

Disturbing? Clearly you haven't been on these forums long enough. And I really do lack remorse for a lot of things most would be bothered by.

Cersei Lannister? A very fitting choice for you as you seem to share many personality traits. I so do hope you enjoy her story in the later books of the series.

I only picked her because she was in my favourite film of all time and IRL she is funny as hell.

As far as her story on GoT I could care less I don't watch the show nor have a read any of the books. BUT....it's nice to know you take pleasure in pointing out your pleasure in using the abuse/violence of one woman and using it against another woman. True colours coming out eh? Not that I am surprised.

Let me just get this off my chest since you guys brought it up. I'm not really a nerd, To be honest. In my book, A nerd avoids social contact because they lack the social skills, I'm a nerd because i chose to do so. I'm actually quite popular IRL and a lot of people try to befriend me and i shut them down. As i said, It was all for the sake of fiction.

Same story here bro. Plus I don't want to waste my energy and time being around average Jack and Joe who aren't worthy of me!

Yet to find decent people in RL!

Note: They exist, but I'm quite unlucky!

Doubt they exist though. :D I like fictitious characters because each is an entity of their own, iron Man, Spiderman, Wolverine, Professor X, .... Etc. They create their own personalities, That's how i created mine. That's why i feel compelled to the characters. Feeling compelled to fiction itself is another thing that I'll talk about tomorrow when i have free time since i have to go to bed now. :D

I guess you could say that being WEIRD is the weirdest things about me. :)

But in all seriousness, here are some genuinely odd yet not too personal things about me:

- I've got a bad case of T-Rex arms; unlike most human beings, my height (already not impressive to begin with) is noticably greater than my arm span.

- I've got some strange pet peeves. One of them is when people try to point out something in the distance that they want me to see. They just point to it from where they are, and expect me to just visualize a line extending from the tip of their finger thousands of miles to wherever the thing they want me to see is.

Another one is when I'm driving and trying to make a turn, and there aren't that many cars in the way, but they're spaced just perfectly from each other so that I have to wait there forever. Then there's inevitably the one guy you didn't think you could beat; then it turns out he was going slowly enough that you could have beaten him, but it's too late by the time you realize it. Worse, his slowness allows a bunch of other cars to catch up to him, forcing you to wait even longer. It's stupid I know, but I'm getting impatient just thinking about it.
