Funkerlied
O du schöner Westerwald
Die blauen Dragoner
Im gazen Vaterland
Unterwegs (Soldaten, marsch)

...oh. And here I was expecting something that the likes of Helene Fischer - or Farin Urlaub or even Cro - might sing.

I'm weird so I must contribute!

I watch Strike Witches and enjoy it even though I know it is awful in a lot of areas.

I study Soviet history.

  • I think my teachers think I'm a Communist (I'm not)

In RL I use to venerate aspects from the big three kind of government: Socialistic, Fascist and Republic.

This make everyone confused!

It's funny how I'm being serious becomes a way to troll people!

I poop naked.  Completely naked.

It is the most glorious way to dump.

Nah, you should get the pajamas Peter Griffin wore one time. Not only can you poop and be warm at the same time, you can also be Electric Man!

I DO DREAM EVERY NIGHT.

And often they're more interesting than RL. Only 1% of them can be considered as nightmares.

I only picked her because she was in my favourite film of all time and IRL she is funny was hell.

As far as her story on GoT I could care less I don't watch the show nor have a read any of the books. BUT....it's nice to know you take pleasure in pointing out your pleasure in using the abuse/violence of one woman and using it against another woman. True colours coming out eh? Not that I am surprised.

Yes, clearly it's a matter of me being misogynistic rather than the fact that Cersei was arrogant, overconfident in her "skill" at playing the politics of Westeros, surrounded herself with sycophants only telling her what she wanted to hear, imagined her enemies to be lurking in every shadow, and underestimated everybody. No I couldn't possibly be enjoying the irony of her situation, her past mistakes returning to haunt her, and that she now has to account for her actions. It is obviously misogyny.

Yes, the entire world is clearly out to get you just like poor innocent Cersei. Clearly every slight against you is motivated by misogynistic views instead of any other possibility. You've uncovered the truth, oh no.

I guess you could say that being WEIRD is the weirdest things about me. :)

But in all seriousness, here are some genuinely odd yet not too personal things about me:

- I've got a bad case of T-Rex arms

While I don't have short arms myself, sometimes I wonder if my hands are too big; I swear, it seems like every keyboard for a phone is designed with small hands in mind.

So scheint es, dass Deutschland von 1918-1990 wäre ein interessantes Gebiet, um dann zu studieren. Es hat eine seltsame Mischung aus allen drei Ideologien in einer chaotischen Mischung.

And then I remembered I like Friedrick Wilhelm II to Wilhelm/Bismark era the most...

Still nothing beats Hitler/Mussolini's Economy, Yugoslavia's Order and Conservative kind of Republics!

So you can divine my real intentions in the previous post? Impressive. I've never seen a mind-reader who can perform that skill over the internet. Can you guess winning lottery numbers as well?

Do go on and tell me all about myself. Clearly you know me better than I do.

I have to admit, it's rare to see somebody who actually is interested in the Biedermeier era - even if you only care about the Prussians. ( :P) Good for you.

Unfortunately, though, that thing about "Hitler/Mussolini's Economy"...

1. Nazism and Fascism were not the same thing. They were not even closely related from an ideological standpoint; the NSDAP owed more to native German völkisch groups, whereas Fascism put down roots mostly in Italy, Spain, and (bizarrely) Britain.
2. The economy of Mussolini's Italy was nothing special. For all the media Sturm und Drang over Rome's policies, growth stayed on the same steady track it had been on before. Which meant that Italy was woefully unprepared for the economic stress of industrialized global war.
3. Hitler's Germany had a much more nuanced story to its economy, but it suffices to say here that insofar as the Nazis did produce economic success, they did so by reducing their citizens' standard of living (real wages never returned to 1928 levels while Hitler was in power, let alone those of 1913) in favor of boosting arms production and employment. During wartime, the economic "achievements" of the Nazi regime were nugatory and its policies shockingly wasteful, and it kept production as high as it did chiefly through the use of slave labor.
4. If Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy have reputations as economic powerhouses, those reputations are therefore almost entirely undeserved.

More weird things.

I'm a sort of clean freak but one thing must be absolute. My hands must smell clean.

Despite all that I use the same plate/bowls for my food for a few days straight and have no qualms scooping mud and ***t with my bare hands if it calls for it.

Sounds legit

Italy maybe not prepared for War, but was in quite a good shape and had good economic growth in that period ... at least comparing to 19th century and EU era (EU lol).

Germany... nothing beats total advance in technology and industry. people buying 100 clothes per year can't take a country anywhere.

What a shame. I was hoping for more amazing insight and self-righteous commentary on matters you know nothing about.

I make the rest of the world look better? That's nice but could you change it to something a bit more flashy like "you are literally worse than ISIS"? I'm sure your bootlick will enjoy that too.

Weird things about me, huh...

I can't get drunk, no matter how much alcohol I consume; I've got the attention span of a fruit fly; I loathe American-made romantic comedies, but love Asian-made romantic comedies; I watch a shiteton of subtitled anime (not a fan of the dubbed stuff), which is usually romantic comedies containing shounen-ai; I'm terrified of spiders, big or small, but in video games they don't bother me; I've lived in the Seattle area for almost two years and still haven't visited the Space Needle; I haven't made any friends outside of the 'net since I was 14 (I'm 34), and I'm the palest person in my entire family, oh, and I'm also the only one in many generations to have dark hair and green eyes.

However, I've been told the weirdest thing about me is my reason for moving to the northwest: to get away from months on end of sunshine, extreme heat, and humidity. I spent three quarters of my life in South Carolina and Texas. As soon as I had the means to move, I did. Do not regret it! Bring on the cold, the rain, and the clouds! I'm now thoroughly spoiled by nice summer temps and find myself starting to whine a bit if the temp gets above 75F. :3
