I'll need Kleenex.

I can show you the math...
Arc Pistol+Warp IV+Headshots=4000 damage per shot. DC=1300 DPS. That gives you a consistent 5300 DPS. Then you biotic boom with warp, giving you an additional 1500 damage from the boom +~3000 damage from the warp. This takes 'prox 3 seconds so far, resulting in around 20000 damage in 3 seconds. Then another 1.5 seconds finishes her off.
4000 damage per shot with an arc pistol? And how, exactly? >.<
4000 is possible only on mooks (with 2.5x headshot multiplier). Warp ammo + arc pistol does close to 5000 damage to barriers on mooks.
Banshees, with only 1.4x multiplier take ~3200 damage per shot to their barriers and 2700 to armor. These numbers are without warp debuff. With the debuff, it's +150 to armor, +200 to barriers.
The HS multiplier was miscalculated in the initial calculation.

Yeah, Sterling is ignoring a Huntress thread until pretty late in the game.
The Huntress is one of my favourite (if not the favourite) characters. And I play her with a Black Widow. The cooldown times match almost perfectly with those three shots. Cloak->Dark Channel->Shoot, Shoot, Shoot->Cloak->Warp = Dead platinum Banshee.
Cmon, Google girls in yoga pants & you'll have to agree with me. These game designers are getting dangerously close though. Sadly, when it makes it to that level I will probably stop dating, 'real' girls anyway.

I would recommend to take your favorite weapon (for me that's right now the particle rifle). Anything works well with the Huntress. Cloak->Dark Channel->shoot->cloak->warp->shoot->everything is dead (as others have said). The important thing IMO is that you have to be able to shoot during the cooldowns. So if your weapon is a bit heavier, but you can still shoot during the whole cooldown without wasting too much time having to reload - no problem at all to take a heavier weapon.
On the contraire: taking a weapon that can deal mad damage allows you better crowd control IMO, because you can highly damage multiple targets at the same time (one with dark channel, one at a time with your weapon). So I say: take a weapon you are comfortable with and enjoy the power of dark channel which can kill even boss units on its own on Platinum once you have stripped shields and taken just a bit of armor away. A phantom BTW goes down even on Platinum just by putting dark channel on her at full health without anything else you have to do. But be aware: if you let dark channel kill things out of your sight, the game often respawns that enemy right on your back. So keep track of the kill feed if you let dark channel work its way through the field on its own...

I believe this may be identical to DemiserofD's build. Except the Arc Pistol is for scrubs. Come at me BSN.
That's pretty much my build, except I use a piercing mod instead of the heavy barrel.
Remove Crutch Channel, or forever rely on Crutches.

Then why play the Huntress?
I use Asari huntress with the Shuriken cuz every other weapon in the game is for scrubs.
But when I feel scrubby, I use the Valiant. Of the dozens of weapons I've tried with her, it is thus far the one I like most.
I've tried loads of weapons on her. I always comeback to the Claymore, it synergises beautifully with the cloak cycle.

That is because the High Lord synergizes beautifully with everything ^^

As I mentioned before, I'm a scrub, I need two shots because i miss the first one... hence Wraith....

The Wraith looks, sounds and feels awful to me. I rather use my bare hands.

Aside from the supposed arc pistol damage, which other people have already addressed, I question your suggestion that dark channel does 1300 DPS. Here is the most damaging dark channel build for the huntress (at least I believe it is).
As you can see, dark channel (cast under cloak) does 1181 DPS to barriers but only 886 to armor. So at least the armor DPS is significantly lower than your calculation suggests. If you were counting a warp debuff, the armor DPS only goes up to 1019, but even then, you didn't account for the extra time it would have taken to apply the warp debuff before applying DC.
So I guess I'm still not convinced. But I'd love to be proven wrong!

886*30sec? 26568? is that right?

Yes, dark channel is really nasty to bosses! There's no question that a cloaked dark channel can nearly (or entirely) take down many of the bosses in the game. We were debating whether an arc-pistol-wielding huntress can actually take down a banshee in 4 seconds.

I know, once I cast on a Plat Scion and i forgot about it only to see in the feed piallator[dark channel]scion after a while and be surprised. i just never looked at the math...
Quarian Huntress is better. I heard she had Warp and a modified Flamer that goes 25 meters.

You forgot to check the box to activate Warp
1019/1358 when it is checked

Read my full comment. I even quoted your armor damage number. I specifically excluded warp because he didn't account for the warp casting time in his 4 second calculation. Warp would have to be applied first to get dark channel to 1300 DPS on barriers.
Even then, once the barriers are gone, the DPS drops, and he didn't account for that either.
