Meh, I was being yelled at to go work, didn't exactly have time to be precise. As for the Arc Pistol DPS, 1693+1042 ammo damage*1.4=3829, or ~4000. More with warp, of course, but I forgot to uncheck it. Oh, that's vs armor, too. Versus barriers you do ~5300. Oh, I guess I'm not sure if ammo gets headshot bonuses, either. Meh.

Anyway, it's a ballpark figure. 4-5 seconds, somewhere in there. Still crazy fast.

Except that your numbers are still wrong ;)

But hey, whatever. I don't even play this character.

The Arc Pistol MIGHT be better on Gold and lower because of the lesser enemies if you can headshot them well, but there's no way that an Arc Pistol is going to outscore a Talon on Platinum.

Do you mean specifically for the huntress, or in general? There's more than a few kits I prefer the arc pistol on, for any difficulty. Admittedly I haven't used either on the huntress.

For me it's down to range, I much prefer the talon on close quarter kits, but at medium to long range the arc pistol is going to out perform it, unless it's on a kit with some kind of accuracy boost.

I usually use the Crusader on her, but tonight I tried the Arc Pistol and the Talon. I didn't do nearly as well with the Talon. Harder to hit at range, smaller clip, slower to fire and reload. The Arc Pistol worked great, plus I even tagged some mooks with it here and there while sprinting. Just my experience. Not sure whether I'll permanently switch from the Crusader to the Arc Pistol but I'm liking it right now.

Not to get into which is better, but try the scope on the Talon. Seriously. One-shotting a mook across the map with it is very satisfying. Also, it's the only shotgun you can legitimately put a scope on in ME3MP.  Scope + HB + AP ammo FTW.

It will, unless you are using a character with accuracy and RoF bonuses.

That is because the High Lord synergizes beautifully with everything ^^

Tis too beautiful though. The Claymore on her or the FQE and I just sit there and stare while the enemy kills me. Something about a woman that can handle a large weapon is too much blood flow being redirected.

Tried the crusader & did better than arc but worse than BW. Krysae is lame aim friendly so that could be an option? I should try that tonight. I could also attempt to die less. That helps with DPS right

They don't.

The Arc Pistol can do around 4600 damage to a Banshees (primed) barriers with a headshot. Against a Banshees primed armour that figure drops to around 3600 per headshot.

Why, b00g13? It works if you insist on using the Talon at long range.

As a professional Talon user, I say it's a waste of a mod slot.

The real trick with her is to wait a second with your shooting at banshees so you can get a warp in. If you time it properly, you'll start off with a banshee with full health, and in the time it takes you to cloak, DC, and then cloak again and warp(and thus detonate), you'll take the banshee down to less than half its armor. A few more headshots and it's down for the count.

Huntress is really weird for me as a character because i'm pretty sure she actually takes down armored units faster than she takes down mooks. Do it right and a single dark channel can lead to a half dozen biotic booms, and kill entire waves. Brutes die in a split second, banshees take maybe 4. Warp ammo is, of course, necessary.

She's also one of the most overpowered characters to exist. I don't even bother using equipment on her anymore on gold.

I use this build.

I have the same build except it ignores warp and goes for fitness. I only played her a few times, but just yesterday on Rio Gold I would cloak +DC and it would do about half a bar of damage per second. Am I missing something? To me DC seems very weak.

My setup is with a Black Widow, sniper amp and gear, power amp, and warp ammo III.

You should never play a game with either of my female quarians then, as they mostly use claymoar and widow with occasional bouts of beating things to death with an omniblade on the former.

I like piercing + HB but then that's what I put on everything. What do you run it with?

Dark Channel > Shoot > Warp > Shoot

Your Dark Channel is not doing the Warp debuffed damage, your weapon is not doing Warp debuffed damaged, and after the Warp, your weapon's Warp Ammo is not getting the Biotic Primer bonus.  But hey, you get a BE.

Why not cast Warp first?

Warp > Shoot > Dark Channel > Shoot

You are still getting your Biotic Primer bonus for your weapon's Warp Ammo.  You are also getting the Warp debuff right away on your weapon.  Then you cast Dark Channel.  Now you are getting the Warp debuff on Dark Channel, and they are still primed, so you are still getting the Warp Ammo bonus.  THEN if the target is still alive, Warp for the BE and finish them off.

Or does this make too much sense?  This is the BSN after all.

That does seem to make good sense, but the tradeoff is explosions, so it's a tough call.
