I'm pretty sure the line about fanatics was said by Solas and the line about believing was by the Inquisitor. Their voices are similar but Solas' is slightly more soft and the Inquisitor's is a teensy bit more gritty.

 

Okay now I'm actually kind of confused. I'm still 99% sure in the English version both lines are the Inquisitor. The French version sounds like the same person to me too. But the German one sounds like those lines are spoken by two different people, with the first line sounding like Solas.

The "You will resist..." and "I will not suffer even an unknowing rival..." lines gave me flashbacks to the conversation with Sovereign in ME1, and I mean that in the best possible way.

Ayup. My thoughts exactly. It mirrored that confrontation pretty neatly, and although I prefer ME2 and ME3 overall, ME1 has the most utterly perfect antagonistic dialog in the trilogy. Anything that echoes it -- and its various inspirations -- is aces in my book.

I really like the start of the trailer than it gets a bit too action oriented for me.

The "trailer" we got at E3 with the lady playing cello is still my favorite thing ever .

Anyway it's probably the last trailer we'll get now , and I'm just looking forward to finally being able to play the game.

You don't think there'll be a launch trailer? I'm figuring that still happens, although if the developers have stated anything to the contrary during my most recent hiatus then I stand corrected. 

 

I know what you mean about being too  action-y; I've had that issue with most of the trailers for Inquisition. Ah well.

So this pretty much worked as a perfect trailer.  Not too much, and not too little.

 

It gave an idea of the sort of game it is and didn't give away too much, leaving some mystery as to what is actually going on.  Plus, loads of no doubt totally unconnected scenes and bits of dialogue strung together in such a way as to give an entirely inaccurate impression of what's happening!

 

Awesome.

 

Play "Enemy" first, then "Hero"... and bathe in the magnificence!

Also, that choral group at the beginning was my favorite part to listen to. Hauntingly beautiful.

Could this be Anora? A blonde,female figure,wearing Loghain's armor (from DA2). Is that a crown? I think I saw a crown!

Heck, I could be totally wrong. I have trouble telling Solas' and the male PC's voices apart at times.

That seems highly unlikely to me. If she isn't in the throne of Ferelden, she's in the slammer. Both of which would make it highly unlikely for her to be mingling with the peasantry outside of Skyhold for no good reason.

Really good trailer but I was a bit shocked at that grey warden lunchtime...

And it's a bit sad that this moment is now spoiled but I hope it won't be our hero of ferelden.

okay actually...considering how most players think their warden is the greatest thing since sliced bread, that would be freaking hilarious.  Five seconds after I got over the shock of it, I'd laugh my ass off.

Pfft, my HoF was used as a chewing gum by Flemeth and Andraste, and he was still fine . A random dragon won't do much to him .

Seriously, the HoF won't appear in DAI, so he or she won't be the lunch of any dragon .
