I've considered it a blessing.... All the blondes in Dragon Age thus far have been complete idiots. Here's hoping Sera breaks the mold...
How dare you address Anora like that!?
You think Varric is an idiot too?
Yes.
How dare you address Anora like that!?
You're right. I completely forgot about Anora. I suppose I must have overlooked that Anora was a blonde because she wasn't being a complete idiot... I apologize to her(and you).
I think SnS Hawke did the same animation at times. It just wasn't seen in closeups like this.
In any case, I recommend playing every class!
Well, that just goes to show that I never play warriors, eh?
Otherwise, I would have known about how cool I could look.
Maybe on my second playthrough...
Trailer was good. It got a lil too fast with the editing, but the essential spice was there. I loved finding SkyHold. I guess all those ppl are from that part inHinterlands where we help that Sister Giselle?
I hope they use music from the DAI soundtrack if they do a launch trailer. Enemy of Thedas is still my fav so far.
It's funny that formless one, or Elder one , or whoever--whatever that is almost sounds a bit tired. I like its tone of voice, though. It's like a quiet authority. I mean, it reminds me of Sovereign and all that, but without....idk..without being yell-y abt it. It has a very even tone, even when it proclaims you must die. lol!
Rivals? uh, really? You flatter me, Formless One.
And maybe we are not necessarily fighting the whole Warden organization, but rather a faction that has gone off the rails? Maybe even at Our Warden's behest?
Strangely enough, my favourite part of this trailer was when the sword-and-board inquisitor banged his sword on his shield, kind of taunting and saying, "I'm ready. Come at me... if you dare."
In that exact second, I felt like creating a warrior inquisitor... and I usually never have any interest in playing warriors!
I don't know if that's an actual scene in the game (the sword-and-shield-banging gesture would likely be different for a mage and rogue character), or if it's something they just created for coolness for the trailer. I hope it's the former!
yeah, that was pretty kick azz! I liked that, too.
And the last scene with the whole party there. Great shot.

I'm waiting for the "Come at me, bro" meme to be put on that gif.
Oh, and if that purple dragon is Flemeth, I hope she's alright, too.
*Inquistor looks off in the distance to sky hold*
See, Cullen? This is where we're gonna ****.

I don't want them for their intelligence lol
The lighting appeared a bit flat in some scenes compared to others, but overall was a nice dramatic build.
"All this happened because of fantatics and arguments about the next world...It's time we start believing in this one".
BioWare, whoever wrote that line, you aren't paying them enough. ![]()
What a hugely impressive and epic trailer, but man am I torn.
I wanted to hear and see more of the Inquisitor's voices in it. But on the plus side we got to see a few really gorgeous shots of Skyhold, some great companion shots, at least all the classes in action, some more potential visions of the Elder One, and a few very deep and potentially life changing quotes. (See above).
All and all I am most psyched out by this. *goes to watch again* ![]()
My reaction to the Hero of Thedas trailer:

I agree! I loved that line.
Reminds me of another trailer line from BioWare that I liked a lot... the Dragon Age: Awakening character reveal trailer for Justice where he says, "A world so full of beauty that beauty goes overlooked." I just kept replaying that part of the trailer over and over.
Kudos to BioWare writers!
Meh. Cool scenes and whatnot, but unless you've been following the game, anyone seeing this trailer would be totally lost. I give it a 3/10. 7 points for the visuals, but negative 4 points for being utterly pointless at developing any interest in the DAI plot. Previous trailers have been far superior.

I want that quote on my tombstone. Not to get into too overly complicated relgious reasons or anything but that quote mirrors some of the basis of my religious belief personally, and the reason why I think this world is in the state it is sometimes.

I think I know what you mean. I find myself encouraging people close to me to take in the small things.. the small beauties. As far as I'm concerned, that's the path to contentment.

I would agree with you, friend. ![]()
Who now ships the villain with the Inquisitior?
Because "I will suffer no rival, even an unknowing one" means "I'm obsessed with you, idiot".
Total Tsundrere.
Well I for one would looooove romancing the Elder One.
Just saying, guys.

More that people spend so much time worrying about some other world that they do not spend enough time trying to improve this one. If there is a God and if there is a heaven I am quite confident that he would much rather us concentrate on living our lives to the best of our abilities and serving our fellow man rather then worrying about...something that is beyond our reach really.

Yeah, I don't want to get off topic, but as far as religion goes, my favorite "saints" (if you will) were concerned with the here and now. And they brought social change because of it (for example, Gandhi, the abolitionists and civil rights workers in the US). There's a place for mysticism and the otherworldly, but it's not big on my agenda.
The female voice at the beginning of the Hero of Thedas trailer sounds like Indira Varma (Game of Thrones)(see video with her and Jessica Merizan). Is she supposed to be the voiceover actor for Vivienne?
