the "this all started because of fanatics..." and "it's time we started believing in this one" lines.
I'm 99.999% sure that the Inquisitor said those - it's very distinctively the British VA (Harry something).
They also sound exactly what would be included in a "Bioware epic call to action speech"
It's the same style as grey warden rogue or mage armor.
Really curious if the mount in that scene can be a different one if you've got another mount set as 'default' which I am assuming we can do considering the various mounts we can have (unless they all have their own toggle).
I think you can set your mount in camp the same way you set your abilities/spells.
Horse armour dlc confirmed? Although seriously, that is wayyy too shiny
I like the Shiny.
Trailer was good. It got a lil too fast with the editing, but the essential spice was there. I loved finding SkyHold. I guess all those ppl are from that part inHinterlands where we help that Sister Giselle?
I hope they use music from the DAI soundtrack if they do a launch trailer. Enemy of Thedas is still my fav so far.
It's funny that formless one, or Elder one , or whoever--whatever that is almost sounds a bit tired. I like its tone of voice, though. It's like a quiet authority. I mean, it reminds me of Sovereign and all that, but without....idk..without being yell-y abt it. It has a very even tone, even when it proclaims you must die. lol!
Rivals? uh, really? You flatter me, Formless One.
And maybe we are not necessarily fighting the whole Warden organization, but rather a faction that has gone off the rails? Maybe even at Our Warden's behest?
Could it be the Wardens who were working with Corypheus In the DA:2 DLC?

I didn't get that impression. The British VA narrates the Discover the Dragon Age trailer, right? Rich, baritone voice?
The voice that says the "fanatics" line sounds closer to a tenor, and I think the regional accents are different(?). UK BSNers, please correct me if I'm wrong on that last part.
I'm certain he says the it's time we started believing in this one line. Pretty sure the first line was still Solas.
I found it funny to learn that Solas' actor is also a singer in a progressive metal band.
Thank you devs, for this amazing game! I know you guys are working like crazy and have been in a crunch for a long time now. Your efforts are much appreciated!!!

Thanks for your post, Liae!
It often seems like such an effort to look for those calmer (and granted, more cordial) remarks made in response to the teasers & snippets Bioware releases for this game. Among the wave of less than favorable jibes, and affronted degrees of outrage over what has been shown, it helps to see the other end of the spectrum represented - even if these sometimes come fewer and farther between.
I have found no reason to dislike very much of the franchise content, and even when I prod Gaider's "increasingly toxic environment" just for kicks, it still seems odd to see constant disdain for a game that's actually not in our hands?

For some reason the British VA sounds much deeper in the Discover trailer than it does in the later ones.
Meh. Cool scenes and whatnot, but unless you've been following the game, anyone seeing this trailer would be totally lost. I give it a 3/10. 7 points for the visuals, but negative 4 points for being utterly pointless at developing any interest in the DAI plot. Previous trailers have been far superior.
I think this trailer was to be more about the different classes and the Inquisitor. Warrior 2handed, SnS, Duel wield daggers, etc. instead of being like the "Enemy of Thedas" trailer which is more about the Elder One and the plot/characters.
Who said the line at the end (the "Every great war has its heroes, I'm just curious what kind you'll be.")? I've been trying to figure it out. Huhu

I remember someone said that was Cole, but I'm not sure, because I've never heard his voice before.
Except they've marketed trailers and gameplay of both genders pretty equally...
Seems a lot like petty whining tbh
I think it would be awesome if Bioware showed a Black Inquisitor, but as long as I know I can represent in game Im cool. I dont get all the whining.

its the flames of the inquisition armored mount.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'd say:
0:05 - 0:22 = Vivienne
0:22 - 0:30 = Inquisitor (British male)
0:33 - 0:38 = The Elder One
0:57 - 1:01 = Solas
no no, 0:22-0:30 ("There is a place waiting for a force to hold it... there is a place where the Inquisition can build and grow") is definitely Solas, you can hear the Welsh.

again I think that was definitely Solas.. you can hear the Welsh.
I'm wondering if maybe people outside the UK find it more difficult to identify Welsh/uk-regional accents. I'm from the UK and those lines have a Welsh lilt.
I now agree though that "its time we start believing in this one" etc is british male inquisitor.

.....and they shoot.... and nothing but net! Score another one for the marketing team!...
This is exactly why I love these trailers! You get a fairly good marketing team together and the images create more questions more so than providing any sort of insightful or revealing answers! To all the howler monkeys out there worrying about "spoilers", fear not... nothing is spoiled! (except may be your butt-hurt sense of entitlement!.. I keeeeeed
!)
For this particular trailer, I personally like how it focuses more on the multitude of tasks and the growing responsibility of exactly what being the inquisitor now means!
Go forth my fellow inquisitors, lead this world to its bitter end! ![]()
Its so insane but I swear that voice reminds me of Zaeed's, I know his VA is dead but I just can't get the comparison out of my head. Makes me wonder if BioWare got out a Ouigi board or did a sayance.
A Dragon Age game without Sachs voice is so much lesser for it -- It's always sad to be reminded that we won't get to hear him again. ![]()

Huh, totally sounds like Solas to me.

He was a great actor with a lot of character in his voice.
