Nice trailer, although I prefer earlier ones. Mostly because if they want to speak to me directly and make me love it 100% (as in identifying with the character), they gotta show the FemInquisitor. Yep, that's how important it is to me. But, still nice trailer all around

Considering how much gameplay we've seen with the female inquisitor so far I'm really surprised when some peoples first comment is: "There's just dude inquisitor in this trailer whine whine..."

But that's what fans do!   Like an old married couple, we squabble and complain but still  very much in love

DA:I has the best armor designs of the series so far. The Inquisitor and Blackwall's heavy armors look a lot better and than the heavy armors of DA:O/ DA2.

I am in agreement what I think this trailer should of done is be swapping between all the races in my opinion in different scenes that would of made it better in my opinion. 

 

This.  I liked it a lot, but why didn't they take advantage of this self-declared "Hero" trailer by showcasing the different types of heroes you can be?  I suppose a sudden "Choose your hero!" would have been counter to the tone (cinematic versus gameplay), but honestly I'd rather the latter at this point than the former.  I still watch the ME3 FemShep trailer with happy tears.

The armor does look great. I would just hate to be the poor page who's clearly tasked with spit-shining the Inquisitor's gear every night.

I hate to say it but I am left underwhelmed by the trailer. I've loved all the previous ones but this just seemed...I dunno. A wee bit bland. Especially since they have such a great CC and this was supposed to be about the inquisitor.

My main criticism here is that 1) Because of the fact that this is called the "Hero of Thedas" trailer and because of the "What kind of hero will you be?" line that they would in fact show all the four races and 2) I had hoped that they would use one of the American VAs for this one. They could have just shown four out of the eight race/gender combinations, like Male Qunari, Female Dwarf, Male Human and Female Elf, and showcased all the four VAs... I kind of hope they eventually would.

 

I think they could have called this one the "Awesome Cinematics and Animations of Thedas" trailer, because those cinematics were simply gorgeous! I loved them! And I loved the shots of the new(ish) areas and the glimpses that we got from the companions and advisers (where is Josephine though?  ). And oh, that was definitely Stroud there, no?! Also, I think we can see Mother Giselle in that shot where they are going to Skyhold.

 

Anyways, I still like the "Enemy of Thedas" trailer a bit better (guess the Elder One is just that much cooler), but this one is close!

I really liked this trailer. The music was just incredible. Some of those scenes in this trailer are just out of control. I know what type of hero I will be!!

 To me that looks just like one of the basic human male heads that has been shown, and it most particularly does NOT look the least bit like the Stroud that we've seen previously in DA2. The Hero of Thedas trailer seemed to be trying to show an Inquisitor of different classes, with rogue, mage and warrior moments. This is just another shot of a different male Inquisitor in action.

When publishers of games that allow you to choose your gender does not automatically go with the male for marketing is the day less of us will criticize this choice. Which won't happen until publishers stop being afraid that a lot of dude gamer's won't play the game because they think you can only be a female when they see a female protagonist. Female gamer's however don't care as much when it's the opposite.
