Do we have official confirmation of that fact?
Well, Stroud came up in a mission description during one of the YouTube playthroughs, so he's in the game.

I thought the trailer was okay? I like the other ones better. *shrug*
Some people liked the trailer, others didn't.. cool beans. Lets leave the pro white male/anti white male debate elsewhere please.
Looks nice. Seems like the Wardens are having issues or may be direct opposition to the inquisition. I hope it's a choice to fight them rather that a pre-set event.
Ooh can we retired "disappointed", "dealbreaker", and "betrayed" as well?
I nominate "kicked in the teeth" for inclusion in Most Unnecessarily Melodramatic BSN Disapproval Phrases, if we're counting.

Pretty sure the warden attack isn't optional.....but I could be wrong.
Dorian's voice doesn't suit at all in this trailer.
Dorian doesn't speak in this trailer o_O
I'm pretty sure the archer inquisitor was female...
Though I may be crazy.
Pretty certain a map spoiler

My entire post was speculation based off a spoiler which I referred to as a spoiler and don't really see how it gave anything away, but fine I will change it.
I was reading the youtube comments and DDDDDDDDDDAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMMMMMMMMMMMNNNNNNNNNNNNNN man people REALLY hate EA and bioware.
God damn. ![]()
are bioware not allowed to show dudes in their trailers now? I see a lot of people complaining about this.
Dudes already take up about 9 out of 10 game trailers (for games in general), the (game) world will not end if this changes.
Yikes! What an incoherent collection of game scenes.
This is a shockingly weak trailer; probably the worst "official" Dragon Age trailer I've ever seen.
Why are there fans out there who are able to put together far better trailers with limited footage and resources?
This seems like a half-hearted effort, Bioware. And so close to launch???
After the build-up over the last 24 hours, this is incredibly underwhelming.
@FumikoM: You're right - because most dudes don't obsess about who appears in trailers.
Thedas is a female rights best friend - the entire world is run, organized and saved by women. The world won't end if the trailers show Dudequisitors.

Actually outside of something like the Sacred Ashes trailer, it is pretty standard fare for video game trailers that are only looking to excite and not give away story or plot elements.
... The music is amazing. All the trailers have amazing music. ...
It is, I admit to being a total sucker for trailer music.

They may go the route that they did with ME3; had the same trailer that showcased MShep and FemShep separately. If I recall correctly they were spamming us with footage in the last moth before release that included a lot of femSheps, so it would be pretty nice if Bioware and EA did the same with DA:I.
As for the content, whoa. I liked Enemy of Thedas a bit more, but it didn't stop my mind being blown.

There's a spoiler tag for a reason, and that's a huge plot point that I guarantee many people will not want to read by mistake.
A: At first, I thought they said the war happened because of phonetics, rather than fanatics. I was amused by someone marching on Isolde's accent.
B: Is that dragon at 1:20 wearing *armor*? What kind of deranged lunatic smith goes "yeah, this dragon is pretty awesome, but what if it had 5 tons of steel strapped to it as well?
Oh they would, if we switched it - almost only female protagonists in game trailers - most gamer dudes would be up in arms. But they don't care now because to them it's normal to show mostly males. Funny, it's often the same dudes who try to tell me "gender does not matter", of course it does. Otherwise game trailers, and games, would not be heavily biased towards male characters.@FumikoM: You're right - because most dudes don't obsess about who appears in trailers.

That music was awesome.
I want the deluxe soundtrack so badly! Can't wait.
Just look up audiomachine on youtube as BioWare used their music for this trailer. ![]()

I am too! TSFH, audiomachine, Immediate Music, Hi-Finesse, ICON Trailer Music--I could go on ![]()
Well a fort being upgraded made a return appearance, good to see. So I guess strongholds are still in. I am still surprised they haven't shown this mechanic off any, considering it was still in infant stages the one time they have truly shown it.
I love the battering ram and the fact that your underlings go through first and you follow after.
Imo the trailer was awesome. Looks like there will be some awesome cut scenes in this game.
I agree it was a Great trailer, can't wait for the game to come out! ![]()
