Hi All,

UPDATE: Resolved the problem, I missed out a digit on the new TLK reference .... ie. I had 1677395 instead of 16777395 ... Doh!

I did not think this would even be an issue, but when I decided to add a new spell icon to use for my new spell, I decided that I wanted to be able to have the spell be available from a scroll to use my new icon.

So, I added the spell to spells.2da. Added my spell as a line to iprp_spells.2da and (as it still was not showing), I also added a whole load of blank lines so my spell would fall in line with the correct spell line within des_crft_spells.2da as well.

With the new 2da's, I made a new scroll, but could NOT see my new spell among the Cast Spell options in the properties available to be added!

Can someone tell me if I have missed updating a 2da anywhere, or if I have missed an obvious step or not followed some critical naming protocol.

Thanks in advance!

Lance.

Don't have access to my home PC at the moment to check, but is there a 2da file for scrolls as well (that you need to update)? The available casting levels for scrolls would need to be stored somewhere.

Hi rjshae,

There may be, but I think I have all that I need required for my purposes now thanks! :)

This was for a single purpose "special scroll", which may possibly be acquired now and then ... if that makes sense. i.e. It serves only one purpose and can only be cast by clerics or wizards, which is easily enough set on the properties.

Cheers,
Lance.
