This is no "I'm not wasting any money if the game is not good" or "I'm gonna buy the game either way because I love bioware" thread. It's just a matter of curiosity and I do not want anyone to get offended. 

 

Is anyone of you going to read some reviews of any kind before buying the game? And why/why not?

Nope, I have been following this game for over a year of its development. I have done my product research and I am making an informed purchasing decision.

Yes, I will. While I am hopeful this game will be great, DA2 and ME 3 left very bad tastes in my mouth. I am hoping that DAI will wash that taste out.

I always read reviews for the games I care about, but I am pre-ordering DAI. I've loved all the games so far so I don't need more convincing or have hesitation about the game.

I was planning on waiting for more reviews and videos after release, but the PC gameplay twitch stream with keyboard and mouse was helpful enough for me to decide.

I will read the reviews because I like to,

Yeah I always read reviews first. Everything we have seen so far has been by Bioware and while I respect them they are obviously going going to be biased presenting the game so I want to see some unbiased reviews first.

I find reviews worthless. If I'm sceptical about a game I will either solicit the opinion of a friend or just search out gameplay vids post release on YouTube

I've already bought it, but I'll read player reviews to hopefully have informed discussions about it. I'm done with "professional" games media.

No because I have seen enough of the game, seen previews, read developer interviews, know the feature list, etc that it will be worth the $70 and I admit I don't mind paying for the ability to play at release.

Steam telling you about what the Majority of reviews are like for a game is very handy.

The ones I trust yes. I'll most likley youtube a fair amount of the game before purchase as well.

hell no! i'm even planing on upgrading from 360 to PS4 just before DA: I launches. the only Bioware game that has been less than i expected in major aspects was DA II which was understandable and judging from all the gameplay video and interview i have seen these guys deserve support for the heart and the effort they've poured into DA: I
