I preordered, and because I actually like most of what I've seen thus far (despite a few quibbles with certain design decisions), I'm sticking with my preorder.
Will anyone read reviews before buying?

All reviewers are biased, precisely the reason why I'm not letting any reviewer judge my purchase.
Thats why you go with user reviews and reviewers like angry joe....Angry Joe is my go to for these kind of reviews because he gives a gamers perspective and usually likes and dislikes the same things as I do in games....

Nope, I know I will like this one no matter that. It is pre-ordered and my body is ready.
I leave reviews for games I have no idea about whatsoever, but even then it often doesn't help. Hard to find an opinion that reflects mine hidden in all the hyper critical 'gamerz' and toady 'scared to lose their pre launch access' site reviewers.
I find it better to just get what I fancy and if I don't like it, its just a few dollars wasted and something to pass on to the nephews.

I think professional reviews are almost worthless after DA2.

Agreed. I trust his and TotalBiscuit's opinions the most when it comes to AAA games.

Yeah.
Customer reviews will be the reason I buy or pass altogether on DA:I. I was burned by pre-ordering twice before and no matter how good a game looks to me I will not be pre-ordering again. Every company hypes up their work and will not be showing flaws or shortcomings at E3 or other conventions so while everything Ive seen for DA:I looks ok, Id rather be spoiled on parts of the story in a customer review than waste my money on something I end up hating again.
Same goes for the other 2 games I'm looking forward to. I have no trouble waiting a few weeks after release or even a month or 2 because I have other games and activities that will keep me busy anyway.

Those reviews are as much biased, if not more, than professional reviews.

While we are polling anyway of the people doing reviews first what reviewers do you respect and trust?
If you say IGN you opinion is noted and dismissed ![]()

Those items are likely time-gated so that EA can have more direct revenue with pre-orders. There should be an upgrade to the deluxe edition or its items being sold separately after release, but at a higher price.
Might be, not taking any chances anyway since i want the amours day one.

Based on what exactly? There are good reviewers and bad reviewers out there so I'm wondering if that is a blanket statement or based on "I saw a lop sided review that no one that actually played the game could take seriously" style video or blog?

Digital Foundry. Never playing a poorly performing game again, locked solid framerates or bust. I'd prefer to get this game on PS4 for several reasons, but since I can't make sure it performs good myself like I can on PC, I have to wait for DF or somebody to assure me I wouldn't need to. Hopefully they get a review copy tested pre-release or day of, I'd prefer not to wait too long.

I won't be reading any supposedly 'professional' reviews, but I will be reading the reviews here on the BSN (assuming they do what they did with DA2, which was create a forum where people that owned the game could review it) before getting it. If they don't put up something like that, then I presume that a number of forumites will simply post their thoughts. I'll check out the thoughts of a few people here that I respect the opinion of and go from there.
Nothing is actually likely to stop me from getting the game, unless a review reveals that everyone was dead all along and they were just waiting for the Inquisitor to meet them in a church in some purgatory-esque holdover spot. The reviews will just inform whether or not I get it sooner or later, and I'm not especially bothered by spoilers.

In general terms I tend to agree with PC Gamers reviews more often than not. DA2 was really their only significant standout that really dropped the ball. That said, I tend to rate DA2 much higher now, than I did at release. I was so devastated at the time by the huge drop in quality over Origins that it pretty badly colored my opinion. Once I got past the dramatic changes in art, animations, re-used maps, etc. and focused purely on enjoying the story and writing, the game became better.

Oh and Yahtzee. I don't agree with everything he says but he truly does not let other people's opinions affect his reviews.

Yes. For as much information about DA:I was released so far it was on the developers terms. I like what I have seen, but I want some outside view and reviews of the full released content before I make the decision to purchase it.

I'll be far too busy playing my midnight release copy of DAI to pay attention to reviewers. A review is just an opinion, and I'm more than capable of forming my own while I play.

No, I tend to preorder Bioware games or get preorders as Christmas/birthday gifts. I rarely read game reviews for games I haven't played; on occasion, but it's rare. I'm particular about the genres I play (though flexible in my gameplay preferences, oddly enough) so I tend to find games based on recommendations of friends or browsing around the Internet, or stumbling across "related titles" sorts of deals. I tend to only read reviews to help me decide if I'm on the fence about a game.

People don't read reviews to avoid the trouble of forming their own opinions, they read them so they don't potentially waste $60.

Nope. I thought ME3 was an incredible game, albeit with a disappointing ending. It certainly didn't lower my faith in Bioware (aside from overpriced DLC).
It's the same deal with DA2. I thought it was a great game. Not without it's flaws, but still great.
I have no reason to believe DA:I will be anything other than great. Besides, I only trust professional reviews insofar as a general starting point on what quality a game is. And I don't trust user reviews at all. Dragon Age 2 sits at a user score of 4.4 on metacritic, which is utter bullshit. Far too many perfect 10's and absolute 0's to take the culmulative user score seriously.

I only watch reviews.
AngryJoe and TotalBiscuit.
They usually focus on different aspects of the game (+ AngryJoe is mainly a console gamer, while TB focuses on PC), so I can get a more complete and honest (in comparison with "professional" reviewing sites) opinion.
And I will probably watch the review before buying the game. And then buy it anyway, unless somehow they both say, that it's terrible and unplayable. But I consider it quite impossible.

Ooops, forgot to include this in my "I'll read user reviews to discuss the game" plan: Metacritic will be utterly disregarded, or at least anything there at either extreme end of the scale will. Either way, game is paid for, hardcover strategy guide is ordered, there are no purchase decisions to influence, only my curiousity to satisfy.

I think I will wait for reviews. I only pre-order games I know enough about to know what I'm getting myself into, and DAI still have some unanswered questions.
