I have this weird thing that I watch reviews, after I play a game. I guess I wanna see everyone elses opinions. That's the reason I'm on this forum anyway,

Nah, not at all. I'm going to buy the game anyway, why potentially spoil myself/let others ruin my hype? Gameplay videos are all that I need to make my decision. Reviews mean absolute squat to me anyway.

Reviews are basically just glorified opinions and as everyone knows opinions are like butts, everyone has one. Thus I would rather just trust in my instincts and believe that this game will be worth getting and thus I have no need to use a review to determine this.

I'll probably read some reviews after I've started playing just to see what people are saying about it.

Protip: to get pre order bonuses wait a couple of days before release and then reviews will start coming out, then you can pre order, still get the bonuses and you know whether the game is good (at least if you trust the reviewer). If in europe then wait until the ameicans get there hands on it, there will be videos on youtube and you can decide to pre order.

Of course. After DA II there is not even a slight chance I'll buy it without checking "professional" and well-reasoned player reviews first. Good thing about living in europe is that I can watch and read reviews and if I'm convinced by them still can play it on release day.

I won't. I want to know what happens next in the story. I would've waited for reviews and see if it's any good, if I only played Origins and stopped there. The story wrapped up nicely. But I played Witch Hunt and DA2, so I can't stop now.

I don’t need reviews for the game.
Last year when they said that the world would be big and there would be exploration plus play different characters and not just human i knew i was going to get the game.

When i play the game i will decide if it’s good or not.

Nope. I've had it on pre-order since it first became available. DA2 and ME3 were both great in their own ways, and I've seen nothing to convince me that this one will be any different.

Heck, I wish I could afford to buy a couple dozen more copies to offset the people on here who cancelled their preorder due to some insane nitpick.

I do the same thing. Even if it's a game I'm pre-ordering I'll still read the reviews from the people who's opinions I'm interested in.

So, yes/no. I won't be reading any reviews before buying the game because I already have digital deluxe on PS4 pre-ordered. I will read some reviews after I have formed my own thoughts to see what other people think about it.  ;)

No, but I will probably peek at the MC while playing since I can't help myself.

It have saved me many times in the past like from that one joke of a game called "Rome 2 Total War". If I listened to the devs and their fairy tales about that trainwreck I would've wasted my money.

So yeah I will read the reviews. Every single one I can find.

Why? It's going to get good reviews, because the gaming sites need EA ad revenue.

No. I may find something I enjoy that a reviewer doesn't and will have missed out on something great. Mines is preoredered. If I don't like it I'll trade it in.

Reviews are opinions and like our good friend Varric said: "Opinions are like testicles, if you kick them hard enough, it doesn't matter how many you have."

I always wait for review before i buy a game no matter the dev/game. This is especially true for DA:I given the stability issues frostbite has/had (no offense to Bioware).

Gaming sites are not the only places to post and find reviews.

Magazine or media website reviews? No. Reviews from people I know on forums, probably. If I know someones taste and we're both members of a small friendly community I can make an informed decision. Watching Angry Joe or reading PC Gamer won't give me that.

Depends on if I pick my order up day one or not. If I don't I will most likely read the reviews to get my fix till I can afford the game. College put a dent on my credit card and while 60$ does not seem like a lot, when it comes to paying off 60 vs adding another 60 to the debt it does not add up.

If I can afford it I will though. I played the MP player already and I am sold on the game.

No. I've already got the Deluxe edition paid off. Besides, reviews are not always as objective as them seem.

Nope, I will buy DA:I the first day it comes to my store in Europe.

I do intend to watch them for entertainment and insight into other people's opinions.I always enjoy myself a quallity produced review, even if I disagree with the reviewer.I always find them informative and interesting.

Is anyone of you going to read some reviews of any kind before buying the game? And why/why not?

I pre-ordered Dragon Age: Inquisition in June. So I'm not waiting for reviews. Maybe I'm naive, but I think this game will be awesomesauce.

I'm old school, I still have subscriptions to paper copies of two gaming magazines. So Yes, I will read the reviews.

But considering I've bought nine comics, three books and preordered the inquisitor edition with one day shipping, I'm playing this game regardless of any review!
