You could just use the internet app on your console ps3/4 - xbox 360/xbox one to do it

Yes you are making it more complicated then it is , people who want The Keep as a DLC or in the game itself are making it too complicated as well . You already have an Origin account , the Keep will be connected to your account so all you have to do is make your choices and use that import for your new DAI game . On your console or PC you have to log into your Origin account , your import will be waiting for you to start your new game that's it !

Ah, so they've set it up through Origin, and Origin communicates with the Xbox through my Microsoft Account (or PSN - one can't actually log into Origin via 360 or PS3, but it is possible to link them through EA's servers, which I have done for Mass Effect and DA:O already. That's the step that people were skipping past, which was why I didn't understand.) That makes sense. Possibly still sucks for people who don't have a Gold membership, depending on whether they make it function with a Silver account, or not.

Maybe the part where you connect the console to the internet?

No... I understand how to do that. It was the intermediary part that people skipped past that I was confused about.

'Nuff said. No reason why they can't do this... They did it for Mass Effect, so why not for Dragon Age as well.

So, now  that I've sorted through the rest, I can explain it a bit better.

What's missing is the part where you link your Origin account with your console account. That would be your XBL Gold (or, possibly Silver) Gamertag, or your PSN gamertag if you're on PS3.

It's likely that there will be a way to link them through the Keep that works the same way as linking your ME 3 manifest or DA:O Profile to Origin, except in the other direction.

So when the time comes, you would download The Keep, then register it with your Origin account. I can't imagine it's any more complicated than it was for ME 3 or DA:O, so it would probably only take a couple of quick steps, entering the appropriate network and gamertag, to set up the ability to export your world state to XBL or PSN, thus removing the need to create a version specific to either console.

EDIT: For an example of what I mean, you could click on the Mass Effect "3" symbol just under my profile pic over on the left of this post <<<<< and you would actually connect to my ME 3 Xbox manifest. I had never even logged into Origin or downloaded the client to set that up, it was all done just through BSN/TBF, so there's no need to have a copy of The Keep for Xbox or PS3, specifically to be able to import the World State you set up.

no. no needing gold or play station plus.

In the game it will probably let you log into origin via some sort of menu or you go to origin website and log in to the section to add your console details.
