This must be in something else, because I just watched the new trailer and the last gameplay vid and didn't see anything like that. What is this book?

Its a book detailing the production of the game which was leaked early.
The Cory thing was unintentionally leaked in a gameplay video, but honestly if one read Last Flight it seemed like the most logical solution to the Warden dilemma (and would have been a good way to link it to DA2). LF doesn't ever state it, though, so it requires some piecing together on the part of the reader. Regardless, abandoning ship now seems like the most sensible thing to do.

Yeah I get the distinct feeling we don't know as much as we think, certainly not as much as we knew at this point before DA2 and ME3. We know about Cory and their involvement with the wardens. We know about Hawke, We know about certain members of the Red Templars. This is a 100 hour game, there's a lot of stuff packed into it. We don't know anything about the Civil War in Orlais beyond that we can decide who sits on the throne, We don't know much about the Mage-Templar war or how it can led to the events we saw in redcliffe.We don't know how we get to elven temple or why it is so important.
I think this is right - it's a huge game and we've seen a few glimpses through the windows.
Just look at Mike Laidlaw's face when he is talking about 'surprises to reveal'.
(in the PC edition video) I think he clearly has exciting unspoiled reveals in mind.
Honestly I'm not that bothered. I knew the whole plot of DA:O before I played it, didn't stop me enjoying it. Ditto DA2.
Corypheus being in the game isnt a spoiler.
Thats like saying the Inquisitor wont be in DA:I.
Not paying attention doesent mean something is a spoiler.
Next thing people will complain R+L=J is a spoiler. Occams Razor comes to mind.

I wish I'd done it sooner. I couldn't help myself though; I just wanted to learn more and more about the game. Now that I feel I may know too much, I'm trying to turn a blind eye, in case there are still some big surprises for me to figure out in-game.
