The Bog Unicorn can be tragically referred to as Artax.

That's really dark, and pretty hilarious.

If we can name our mounts, I'm doing that.

If there is a bovine-like creature as one of the mounts, I'm naming it Edgar.

For my first playthrough I aim to primarily mount up on the Hart because it looks roughly the size of the Halla and I plan to play Dalish . I will call him, "Fluffs" or "Fluffy" or "Fluffy-kin". I don't know yet, Fluffs sounds pretty good cause his fur is all fluffy and you can just nuzzle him and bury your face in his fur.

As listed with the wonderful additional content available with the Digital Deluxe Edition, you do, in fact get:

 

- Red Hart Halla (as stated directly in the description)

 

Now if you are referring to one of the more traditional Origins or II White Hallas, that is still open for speculation for the time being!

It wasn't worded wrong, I was simply interpreting your statement in response to the quote that states the "stag is not a halla", which is, in fact, inaccurate. The red hart (stag) is in fact a Halla...

I shall call mine Grimlock because why the f*** not.

I always call my Mabari "Lancelot" (although I've also used Vektor once or twice), so I might use that again for one of my mounts. I'm trying to put some sort of easter egg in my own story by always using that same name. Kind of like there's a Biggs and a Wedge in (almost) every Final Fantasy game.

Well I am glad to see you follow Twitter as closely as I do... except, my friend for the following:

 

- that was all the way back in MAY of this year, and as of OCT.. it still says: RED HART HALLA

- Mr. Laidlaw, as epic as he is, admits that even though he is creative DIRECTOR, he was not the only voice on creature creation and thus final name

- Given it is a FICTIONAL WORLD, would it really be that much of a stretch, to possibly grasp the notion that there could be more than one species of Halla?

 

But I digress,  It's all good amigo!

 

Enjoy whatever mounts we do get!  No fuss, no muss!

Thanks, TC, now I'm going to spend the next five hours trying to think up names for my mounts.  And not be successful at all because I suck at coming up with names for things.  Although....my dad used to own a horse named Spats.  Maybe that's what I'll call the horse in this game....man I loved that horse.  So many memories.
