Will it be worth it?  Just wondering I meet the min specs to play DAI but will it be choppy and slow if I run it as such?

Probably not if you have a console that can run it.

If your in my boat where you have everything for the recommended setting besides one thing, I'd make the investment. all I need is a new Graphics card and I'm golden.

Yes you should share your specs. From what I understand min specs on PC will be just as good as console version.

Well according to the Can you PC run it site I need to upgrade my video card.  Right now I have a GeForce 9800 GT.  But it also has my CPU as a blue I in a circle?  I have Intel® Core™ i5-3450 CPU @ 3.10GHz

Sounds like to me you just  need a better card. I'd just make the investment if I were you.

check www.newegg.com or amazon. I'd go with a GTX 650 ti to run it at solid mid-range

Honestly, so long as you can get to your monitor's native resolution, and maybe bump textures a notch, the game probably won't look ugly. Nowadays minimum specs often mean ''minimum playable'', not absolute bare bones you can scrounge together before your computer melts or somesuch.

Alternatively, just upgrading your video card shouldn't cost too much. So long as you already have a decent power supply to support it, a good card shouldn't cost more than 125-150$.

Update your gpu and you'll be fine. You're looking at a $150-400 depending on what kind of card you buy.

Unless you like playing games like this of course:

Your CPU is perfectly fine. How much RAM? Motherboard? Power Supply?

The main question is: is DA:I the only game you'd be playing on the PC in the near feature or are there others you're interested in? It's really a question of whether it's worth it to make a real investment or just enough to run this particular game sufficiently.

here not the Ti model but a solid card and super cheap. It'll run your game well.

Edit: Honestly your card is above min specs, you could just buy the game and play it and see how it works with your card.

Thanks everyone!  Yeah I will just bite the bullet and get a new Video Card.  The only other game I am looking at for PC is The Witcher 3 but I feel I would have to upgrade everything for that and balls to that.

Oooh in this case...just get another card.

How much ram do you have?

I would invest in an upgrade or console.

My first year at university I bought a small laptop that I used to use for programming. I was bored during the summer and broke and decided to buy jade empire. It turns out I could only run jade empire on minimum settings. It was terrible.

I wouldn't want you to go through a similar ordeal

Edit : Your PC is fine, get a better card. Get someone to install it for you, or you can do it yourself but make sure you are in a static free enviroment

you have a solid GPU and plenty of RAM. I'd just upgrade the card for $100

In that case I would invest the money for a GTX 650/660 or r9 270/280 - depending on how much money you'd like to spend. Just make sure that your power supply can handle it and you're good.

Guys, He wants to play W3, I suggest go big or go home, get a 970 and you'll be fine for both games.

Which would result in probably having to buy, at least, a better PSU and maybe even a small RAM update. Not everyone wants to spend that kind of money.

Besides, the r9 280 will most likely be able to handle TW3 just fine.

the cheapest would be the R9 280 with 3gb VRAM the R9 270 is just a little bit under that price and only has 2gb VRAM wich isnt that optimal.

I have it for my rig and it runs fine, by new games too

You'll be fine. Some of the cpu-taxing settings might have to be taken down a notch, but I doubt it'll really affect you negatively.
