Every other PC candidate (one per background) that you didn't choose.
Except this time it's not Duncan's fault... probably.
If only he could be at the several places at the same time.

I don't know half the names that are mentioned. They must be from the books.
I think thousands of dead people are enough.
Though I fear something might happen to Rhys and Evangeline...
Some-random-dud-who-will-be-our-first-party-member. There was no game, in which BW didn't killed first temp squadmember.
That depends on whether you count the temporary characters that the player can choose to kill and does make the choice to kill them, ex: Kaidan from ME1, Jacob from ME2 and Yoshimo from BG2.
I was kind of thinking that Rhys would have a part in the game due to him having the knowledge to reverse tranquility (am I right about this? Been awhile since I have read asunder). If they kill him off they don't have anywhere to go with that story line.
As long as Merrill survives the rest of Thedas can burn and I wouldn't have a problem with it.
It's going to be the moderates along with Justinia. After all, the moderates would be the ones agreeing to peace in the first place. But I don't think a lot of named characters are going to be there, since part of playing a large game like this is seeing people you know.
I do, however, think that Rhys will be killed. Evangeline will not, because she's part Fade-spirit and she's the only moderate voice still in the Templars. I want Adrian to be killed, but I have a suspicion she is the Big Bad behind the Elder one.
I also think we'll get other red shirts to join our party and die, like other "Inquisitor" types. It isn't a Bioware game without them.
If Sean Bean voices any character, then that one.
Sorry I'm planning to kill her before killing Hawke
You technically don't need to plan. It can be done already.
I will die, from enjoyment!

His name was Trask Ulgo!
Both male and female Hawke are definitely Mary Sue/Gary Stu characters. How can they be anything else, given their default names?
...Surely I wasn't the only one who snorted at the defaults being Marian and Garrett. I mean, c'mon.
EDIT: As for who will die, is it bad that I'm really hoping for the Treyvalen Quizzy's sibling to bite it? Perhaps after a confrontational fight with their templar/mage sibling before the Big Bang? I *heart* angst.
On the Mary Sue/Gary Stu point (I lol'd. Good one), I'm pretty sure BioWare has given us loads of opportunities to choose whether or not to make our heroes in DAO and DA][ as such.
But in my opinion, no matter what choices you make with your Hero or Champion, there are definitely several elements of Mary Sue-ness for every one you've made. I have a completely Mary Sue-d mage who saved Kirkwall from everything despite the angsty shortcomings and another female warrior who's killed mages to become Viscountess who I Mary Sue-d to friend-mance Sebastian.
...Plus, I agree with you on their default names. In my head, I was thinking, "BioWare, can you not?" I look forward to playing Dragon Age to pretend to be a different person, and making the female Champion's default name that much similar to mine doesn't exactly help - her initials are MH and so are mine.
We know that many important People will die At the beginning of the Game. It is almost certain that one of them will be Justinia V. Do you have any other types?
Rhys, Adrian, the Divine, lots of mages, lots of templars, Evangeline....
Almost every city guard (poor city guards), 1/3 of secondary characters, 1/5 ex main characters (this make the cocktail full-bodied, red in color and with a delicate fravour of pathos). Shake everything together and add a little bit of treason. Serve in a large cup to celebrate your win.
Hawke...sort of.
Hawke reportedly "dies" in the blast but you later find them towards the end of the game in the Fade because of course they've been staying alive in the Fade for months on end. They're Hawke.
I really hope that Hawke didn't die there... just sad I actually like him/her. Anyway it's really possible that either one of DA2 companion die there, since Varric sort of kneeling on a covered dead body on the trailer. From his expression it seems like one of Hawke's companion. One of those people he really cares about.

Mass Effect 2 and 3? Jade Empire?
Everyone!
Mass Effect 2 and 3? Jade Empire?
There was someone in ME2. That guy who turned out to be a traitor (Miranda shot him at the end of the prologue).
ME3....Didn't we control Anderson for a bit?
His name was Trask Ulgo!
Trask Lives!
Though Anderson might have been that one temp party member to make it out alive. Nope.
Nihlus. No, Duncan. Wait, I mean Ulgo Trask.
Though Anderson might have been that one temp party member to make it out alive. Nope.
Doesn't your friend as dwarf commoner make it out alive if you save him?
there is no 2 without 3 so our friend who supposed to be dead in awakening and DAII will die "again and again if needed to be""What are you talking about?" ANDERS!!!!!
Actually Anders was really a Spirit Healer or a Necromancer? To me it seems that he's actually Necromancer for keep coming back after death. Either Hawke don't stab him enough or he made some Horcruxes like Flemmeth do. ![]()
