One day, when he was cleaning the room of a grey warden that had been visiting, he noticed a staff in the warden's wardrobe. His curiousness got the better of him and he quickly walked over to the staff look at it more closely. Trying it out, he quickly discovered his aptitude for magic. He spent years honing his magical skills, and ached to escape the alienage, but he knew he couldn't abandon his friends and family until finally, the sky tore open and he realised he had a reason to leave.
