It's not unglitchable. It can be cheesed too, but the chances of successfully doing so are rather less for that hack. 

 

I think you need to zoom in to interact with the panel (like you did) but I'm not sure if it can be done with the default FoV.

I've done it a lot on peasetree without needing specifics. I just need to know where I'm standing.

That's one I've never managed to glitch. I'll try that method next time, see if it works with the garbage console/default FoV.

I wouldn't know, because I stand in my hacks and tank Prime shots (read: spam ops packs for I frames) like a real quarian.

Do you really get extra distance to activate buttons and such with widened FOV?  I put mine at 90, which is only a little bigger than default.

May be, but I am not sure. It's been over an year since I played with the default FoV.

Can't view the vid. I'm assuming the middle of the map downstairs where the activation panel is outside the actual hack?
