Bubele! I see Cleopatra's leaves worked wonders on your mood!

Thedas is one of my favorite fictional settings too. There's just so much stuff in it. It's like finding an old chest in a deserted attic and finding all kinds of odds and ends under a layer of dust. There might be some bits of tin and broken clay in it, but there's also silver and gold and precious gems. Above all it is the joy of exploring the content of the chest that we savor.

Awesome post,  Vertigomez. Rock on. :D

Take my like just for that. I struggle to write a single coherent sentence on touch screens.

I could probably do push-ups with my thumbs at this point, I s2g.

IGAF about your feels Gomez, and I enjoy diary entries. ^_^

*fistbump* B)

Me too Gomez, I get really sad when I come to the end of a book and I don't have any more to read...:(

Oh, I hear you. I'm waiting around for DAI with my arms in the air going, "Whaddya MEAN there's no more books?!" How ever shall I get my DA fix..?

I love it enough that I'm stunned how some can give up so easily on DA. Like they'll quit the entire series because [insert minor feature].

I love it enough that I kind of want to choke them for it (j/k). But I don't really go out and say this out loud. It's just what I think. I find the series very easy to like.. not easy to hate. And I pity the fool.

Yeah, I couldn't put this series down if I wanted to. I was ready to buy it back before they announced it was human-only... of course, I was overjoyed when multiple races returned. I just.. yeah. I like the setting and the lore and the characters way too much to just "give up", even if there was something I really didn't like about it. Which, there isn't. :P

I personally love Dragon Age so much, I'll probably do this when Inquistion comes out.

I already liked you because your user icon is John Astin as Gomez (don't get me wrong, Raul did wonderfully but John came first).  This post?  This post elevated you to "They're alright in my book" status.  I tip my hat to you.

HELP I CAN'T BREEAAAATHE

YOU ARE VERY IMPORTANT. If I were to dance the dance of brotherly love with anyone, it would be you.

Finally someone who speaks my language omfg, praise the baby jesus. John Astin is an ascendant human being; the peanut butter to my jelly, the chips to my salsa, the beard to my dwarf. He and Carolyn Jones were the only actors on television in 1964 to successfully convince me their married characters actually wanted to touch each other.

Bless you.

Bless John Astin.

And bless Sean Astin, who was clearly the superior hobbit.

I know this is wildly off topic for Dragon Age, but I could not agree more with this statement.

I love Dragon Age too. I generally go for games that allow me to create my own avatar (outside of fighting games, which is more of a 'spectator' game, I can't be bothered to play as someone else's character, hence why I don't play jrpgs or even games such as The Witcher *holds flame shield, I just don't like having my character's appearance and romantic ties decided for me*). And frankly, BioWare was the company introduced me to these kind of games with KOTOR, Neverwinter Nights, Jade Empire, etc...

I actually really enjoyed BOTH Dragon Age: Origins and *gasp* DA2. It's the story-based gaming and the fact that you can tell completely different tales and make completely different protagonists on separate playthroughs for a very different experience. Don't get me wrong, I like Obsidian (Fallout) and Bethesda (Elder Scrolls) a LOT too, but when I want a game that's focused on in-depth characterization and experience, I defer to the DA series (and, once in a while, the Mass Effect series. At least the first game.).

To be honest, DAI is the only rpg since last year I've been really hyped for, as its been an rpg drought for me. I was let down by Bound by Flame (the only thing 'hot' about it was that it was a flaming turd. Traded it in the day after I played it), didn't really feel Divinity: Original Sin (good concept, but just hard to get into), don't think Wasteland 2 would be up  my alley, Pillars of Eternity was pushed back to early 2015, and with the loss of my PC it'll be a while before I even have access. So hence the impatient wait for DAI to come and make my Xbox sing again.
