Wow! Never knew the head can explode! Totally doing it next time I play Leviathan! After seeing this picture I can't take the head to the Normandy anymore

About Kelly's dialogue, I guess I can feed the fish manually and take neutral dialogue options with Kelly to see if she offers a dinner, but if she doesn't, my fish are lost in ME3

So Miranda mentions killing the fish even if you have never had any? Also, does Shepard still give that line about fish (in relation to hamster) if he/she didn't have any?

 

Do take in mind that you cannot finish Overlord and LotSB without your fish dying. You can't leave those DLC but they are composed of multiple missions.

Wiki says the fish will be fine if you don't return to the Normandy between the missions

Eh? You can't return to the Normandy during LotSB and Overlord, which is why they die.

 

Not 100% sure about LotSB, but I'm dead certain you cannot finish Overlord without your fish dying.

I meant that they die if you return to the Normandy and then head out without feeding the fish.

Yeah but the point is that LotSB and Overlord are so long (read: composed of multiple missions) that they will die regardless of what you do.

Yep, that's why you need Kelly to feed them. I never buy any fish until I after I go on the date with Kelly, saves me from wasting money. The only time I ever feed the fish is after Kelly and and the crew have been abducted and right before launching the Suicide Mission, just to make sure the fish are alive at the end of the mission.

I don't think it works like that, although I have only once delayed going through the relay after the abduction and that was a long, long time ago. AFAIK, having Kelly on the ship is not the flag for keeping the fish alive, just her agreement to feed them. At any rate, once I get her to agree to feed them I don't bother with feeding them and they make it through the SM just fine.

Yep, some fish like to swim outside the aquarium. I'm going with that they are quantum fish

 

 

Yeah, it seems to be the bigger fish that do the free style floating thing. And good ol' Nibbles, he should've been made a War Asset. Maybe 'morale boost' or the 'best cabin sentry'.  

 

As for the Husk Head, these days I grab it for the cabin, but for the longest time I didn't know you could. I used to just click on it till it exploded.
