I'm doing my best this generation go all digital, and would love for DA:I to come with all preorder bonuses digitally to Xbox One, but so far that doesn't appear to be an option.

Anybody know if there are plans for this to happen?  If not, why are they not doing this?  It seems like so many AAA games are going this route and even include preorder digital bonus content, including other EA games.

Very frustrating as I don't want to own a physical disc, as I never trade in my Bioware games anyway.

I prefer solid copies over downloading as their can become issues. Going to all digital download would restrict alot of buyers, and would hurt sales, so they wont do this.

Now just in bonuses alone, I am unsure this will happen, there are many not online. Marketing would know which sales is the highest and whom to go for, physical versus digital.

I'm not saying that they should stop selling physical copies altogether.  I was just hoping we could have the digital download preorder option for this game is all.

All systems should of had it, I agree. Sony didnt want to go with it, no idea why they chose not to, but they was offered it.

I think it is coming as a digital download BUT there is a good chance its through EA Access and not the normal marketplace - as you will be able to play the game 5 days before launch via ea access. They also mentioned preloading which hinted at a digital only version - but not confirmed either way yet!

They have mix of digital and hard copy, and will continue with hard copy for awhile, gaming industry that is.

I think solid copies are better. Digital copies are good because they might not have a copy of whatever game you want in your local store but one problem I've found with both Xbox and Playstation store is that the prices don't go down (or at least not at the rate of new copies in my local store). Also, I enjoy tearing off the plastic wrapping of a brand new game with my teeth. Small little game fetish that I have... no biggie...

Get the solid copy so you don't get jipped later.

I would probably go ahead and join EA Access in order to get this game digitally if I also get the preorder bonuses.  When it comes to Bioware games, I tend to spare no  expense.  I played ME3 Multiplayer for over 500 hours.  I spent a year and a half just doing that and no other games, so I know I'm gonna recoup whatever I spend on DAI
