You can definitely run it. It might not be really pretty, but you're good to go. Min spec for dedicated graphics memory is 512MB. Everything else looks spiffy. Have fun!
Thanks! I'm really looking forward to the game ![]()

Alright guys break it to me gently can I play DA: I on my laptop?
CPU: AMD A6-3400M APU with Radeon
RAM: 4GBGPU: AMD Radeon HD 6520G
I can run DA:O and DA II on high settings with a small fps drop and if on medium its perfectly smooth
Can anyone answer mine? I'm on the edge of my seat waiting >.<

It looks like your GPU is below the listed minimum requirement.
Normally I'm the one helping people on these kinds of threads, but I want to double check before I preorder. I know I'm good except for the card, which is the big ticket item.
Specs:
OS: Win 7 Professional, SP1, 64 bit
Processor: Intel i7-2670QM @ 2.20 GHz
RAM: 8GB
Card: nVidia GeForce GT 525M, 1GB dedicated
I'm not concerned about how pretty I can play the game right now. I'm building a computer within the next year and I'll enjoy the aesthetics then. I just want to ensure that I can install and run the game. What can I say? I'm an addict

Damn does that mean my laptop would probably have a heart attack and die if I tried running the game?

Probably will overheat... Following is a website that compares your GPU to the listed minimum.

Well I don't want that happening
I guess I'm gonna have to get this on 360 or just wait till I can upgrade my laptop
Thank you for the quick replies!
Figured I'd throw my build in this.
i5-2310 2.9ghz Sandy bridge Quad Core (turbos up to 3.3 ghz I believe)
EVGA GTX 970 4GB SC ACX 2.0 - Have overclocked to 1700 mhz while maintaining decent temperatures (below 70 celisus)
8GB DDR3 1333 Mhz
1TB 7200 RPM HDD
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
Corsair GS 700 Watt
On a monitor @ 1080P
I had previously posted in the thread, an honestly I am aware my GPU could be better (GT 630 2GB) and my CPU is way older (i3 intel) but I recently tried the BF4 trial and ran then entire campaign on a solid medium (only thing I had to was lower res, which I was cool with doing) and it was almost smooth like butter no matter how many people were on screen and how many explosions were going off.
So I was tentatively confident on doing DAI on low with maybe some textures on medium without any issue (cause I can only afford to upgrade like in January), but all this talk about it being CPU intensive has me worried cause the i3 is technically a dual core with Hyperthreading. And no, I don't buy into the whole DRM affecting performance thing people are trying to perpetuate.
Am I screwed? Cause I would be a sad panda.
Hi guys. I finally got on board the hype-train and caved and bought a PC copy of DA:I. Now I'm worried I won't be able to run it.
Intel® Core i7-3630QM CPU @ 2.40GHz
GeForce GT 750M
CPU Speed: 2.4 GHz
8.1GB RAM
Microsoft Windows 8 (build 9200), 64-bit
553.5 GB Free space
I can run Bioshock Infinite fine, which is the most current PC game I have.
Will this be a lowest setting game and should I exchange it for an XBOX 360 copy?
Thanks guys
Will my PC be able to run the game and if at what level? I'm worried aout the graphics card.
CPU: Intel® Core i7-2600S CPU @ 2.80GHz
GPU: AMD Radeon HD 6570 1GB
RAM: 8GB Ram
Bumb - Anyone? What do you think? Yes, no, maybe?

My friend has a similar setup except with a e5800 dual core. He will also be upgrading in the new year. While the developers did say they could get it to run on a dual core with not too terrible fps, its all about how well the engine works, how much effort they put into the min range performance wise and what settings you can lower and disable. Buy it anyway if you're going to upgrade. I'll probably post what fps he gets since we'll be using a vpn to play today (if I can tear myself away from the game). Make sure you get new graphics drivers (when they come out) that will be optimised for DA:I. As you said lower resolutions can give you a couple of frames

Should be fine on lower settings (due to the 750m), would still bank on it looking better on your PC than on the 360.
Hello all
I have to ask as well, as I'm in serious doubt.
I play on a laptop.
Intel Core i7-3630QM 2.4GHz (turbo boost to 3.4 GHz)
NVidia GeForce GT 640M with 2 GB VRAM
8GB DDR3 Memory
The alternative is my PS3. What should I choose? I think the GPU is listed as a not supported graphic card for DA:I but how much does that matter?
Thanks in advance!
Sorry for blantantly bumping!
Looking forward to seeing how my 860m performs until I get back to my desktop next year. I suspect it is going to be bottlenecked pretty quickly by the dual-core mobile i5 though.
GTX860M 2GB
i5 4210m
8GB RAM
However, I'm still to find a game which has the 4-core cpu minimum specs justified, even the awfully ported Watch-Dogs ran on an i3. I've been hitting around 40fps on a medium/high combo at 900p BF4.
Luckily, even if Inquisition runs very poorly at 900p I can get my money back and buy the game cheaper on my desktop in a few months anyhow. Win-Win!
Can i get more opinions on how well i will be able to run the game? I know it passes minimum.
AMD Raedon 7770 (1GB ram)
Intel i5-3570k @ 3.40 Ghz (quad)
8GB Ram
Will i be able to handle medium settings without problem? Also any suggestions on a new graphics card in the 200-250 dollar range? I will most likely buy one on black friday.
Okay so, I have a question, what are the ordinary prices of new computers of the new generation? Please somone help me, becouse I am planning to buy a new computer, and I dont like to be tricked. I have asked other pepole that told me it is 6000 israeli new shekels (I live in israel) which means somthing like 2k US dollars. I have a good keyboard and all the stuffs I need, I just need the computer. And when I mean a new computer I mean one that will be able to run all the new games (Or most of them) On Ultra. Please tell me your opinnions.
Edit: Please somone move this thread into non spoiler section...
On a budget you go for: intel 4690k cpu, 8gb ram, radeon 280 gpu
With more to spend: Intel 4790k, 16gb ram, nvidia gtx 970 gpu + add an ssd (250gb is realisitc minimum now)
If you have more to spend then go for it but you get very little for the money
And what you said now, that comouter, will be able to run DA:I on Ultra?

Your graphics card is below the system requirements. The requirement is an 8800 GT, which quite a bit more powerful than the GT 525M.

This was my exact rig before I upgraded. I would guess medium with a smattering of high settings.

I would say that you would only need 8gb of ram especially if your GPU has 2 or more dedicated.
Hello, can anyone offer a helping hand?
No, I don't mind if it's on the lowest settings - glorious effects are planned for the next build - I just want to expirence the story first time around
OS: Win 7 Home Premium, SP1, 64 bit
Processor: IntelCore2 Duo E7500 @ 2.93 2.94 GHz
RAM: 4GB
Card: ATI Radeon HD 5670
Thank you.

You have a decent processor but RAM is a bit more important and although your card only has 1GB of dedicated VRAM, it is GDDR5. Should be good enough for medium settings, I believe. It'll probably look a little better than last gen but don't expect any Ultra settings. Otherwise you should be good to go ![]()
