4GB ram seems to be enough for medium details
Hi, I'm new around here.
I must know before buying the game if it will run somewhat OK on my PC before I buy something that will turn out to be a worthless block for me.
I got a Radeon 7750, i3 3220, 4GB ram. I plan to play on around 1300-700 resolution (don't remember the exact numbers) on medium settings, On "can you run it?" website what got me worried is the RAM, I look at the OP here and I worried for my GPU. Can I play it decently?
Everything could be ok if you had another GPU it is not enough (maybe it is playable because of your low resolution)

the cpu is enough for ultra but the GPU is maybe enough for lowest (i would not buy it maybe you can't really play the game)
what resolution if it is 1080p i would try the following (after reading some benchmarks) load beta drivers , set to ultra --> put textures one level down--> turn AA down.
Btw is it using both GPUs atm? (could be that it is not supportet by sli right now and a single 580 gtx is not enough for max)
Yes, 1080, and I'll try textures down one and AA down.
As far as I can tell, and based on my trying to run it with SLI turned off, it is using SLI properly. But it's also possible that the second card now being dedicated to PhysX is what I noticed as a good improvement.
I'll experiment more while I wait for someone to release a trainer that works easily. ![]()

Your GPU is below minimum a 8800 gt is faster than your 9600 gso you should be able to start it, but i can only guess how it will run (not good at all)

with the new drivers? (up to 27% boost)
So If I buy 8800 GT this game should go?

Just installed the new drivers, and they did make a noticeable difference. "Smoother" is how I can best describe it.
I also found my video settings were 144 Hz (which my ASUS monitors can do, but wow do they draw the wattage on that setting) so I stepped that down to 60 Hz, and that made things a bit better too.
I'm now on Ultra for everything I can set that way, but dropped AA down to 2x. I may reduce that a bit more as I play. Have only gotten as far as the meeting with Solas and Varric, so likely haven't hit the parts where graphics will be the heaviest draw.
Can Anyone let me know how well these Laptops will run Dai: Inqusitions the specs are below? I am looking to buy one of these soon.
Laptop 1-
Intel® 4th Generation Core™ i7
2.0GHz (with Turbo Boost up to 3.1GHz)
8GB
4MB cashe
Mobile Intel® HD
Laptop 2-
So If I buy 8800 GT this game should go?
i would not do that! The minimum they give is enough to start it. You will have problems playing it fluid with it.
I have no idea what your budget is but there are better options.
Because of your other components you will probably not be able to go above med. details even with another GPU:
A 750 ti should(!) be a nice fit for this game with your other components.

After some more updates to drivers and the game i'am sure your old configuration should survive this game. God two 580 gtx I'am still on my 560ti

not really with only a intel HD GPU. If you have other options and you don't need a I7 for work, look for other Laptops (I5 with a 860m ) should be good

Alright, thanks I will keep looking
I need something more cheap :/ can you help?
Because it can't be more vague on your side a quick summary (always keep in your head that you'll have to see if the card fits into your Desktop and your power supply must have enough power, but i think most of these are smaller and need less energy)
nvidia
460 and up
560 and up
650 and up
750 and up
AMD:
5850 and up
6850 and up
7770 and up

I was wondering if my laptop would run da:i. Everything seems okay, except for the graphic card, which seems like an important component.
Processor: Intel® Core i5-3360K CPU @ 2.80GHz
RAM: 8 GB
GPU: Intel HD graphics 4000 (yeaaaaaaah)
Thank you!
Well found SLI is not good. Runs smooth than you just get hit by the slide show from hell. Now on single card it is perfectly fine. Since my 770 2g cards aren't going to cut it. I ordered a MSI R9 290X Lightning for a little better grunt.
Also setting resolution to 60hz also helped with transition into cut scenes. I had my monitor at 144hz and seemed weird. I will try 120hz see how that works.
Can my machine run this? Is a bit older, but I do run Shadows of Mordor just fine.
AMD Phenom II X4 945 Processor 3.00 ghz
8.00 GB Ram
Windows 7 64 bit
NVIDIA GeForce GT 430
My monitor is only a 720p
Thanks a ton!
How 'bout a GTS 360M (don't know how that compares to the 8800 GT) and an i7-Q720 (1.60 GHz, which I know is a bit low, but can 'turbo' up to 2.8 GHz)?

Your processor should be fine, assuming Google is right in telling me that's a quad core. Less sure about the GT 430. I've got a 360M, which I just asked about above, and while the 400 series is presumably newer, being an x30 instead of an x60 is probably going to hurt you.
It would be really nice if this game had a demo.
Okay wow. I ran the fps console commands while playing around the hinterlands tonight.
![]()
I'm running at 20 fps on medium with drops down to about 12.
![]()
Wow! My poor poor laptop (such are the limitations of my 1.73 GHz cpu and 460M graphics card).
But it's not straining at all, and it's still cool to the touch.
Even if the fps is so low, I'm not having any other issues.
(still can't wait to get the new system and see this game on higher graphics and smoother play.)

Well, that pretty much answers my question. Guess I'll be in the market for a new laptop. Thanks.
@Ina nobody knows not many tests (@ that resolution) and it always depends on the SLI implementation/support
http://www.pcgamesha...k-Test-1142136/ <- scroll down there is a graph you can switch to 1440p and see the result with the old drivers (before 344.75) but only with one 970 gtx
For all nvidia users: install 344.75 up to 27% performance boost
I don't have DA3 yet (EU) but I installed the driver anyway. I was surprised to find it boosts performance in just about every game I tried vs the last whql. Even Skyrim is noticeably smoother in the few places that suffered fps drops.
What settings guys???
Intel I5-3210m
Nvidia GTX660m 2gb
8gb ram
resolution will be 1366x768 ![]()
No offense Lobino and Orchid but go to this thread http://forum.bioware...-please-see-op/
See the first post. If you;re unsure looking at that should give you a rough idea quiskly.
Orchid - Your card will do well but don't try setting the graphics too high untill NVIDIA gives us some drivers. If your CPU is the AMD 840 then I think its higher than minimum stats
That is an amazing graph, thank you for the link!
