Anyone?
My setup is rather close to the minimal requirements:
This game plays fine on my Thinkpad T440p at medium settings with a resolution at 1920x1080.
The graphics card is a GT730m with 1 GB of Video ram but I have 16 GB's of RAM in my notebook and I am playing it on a SSD.
Is an overclocked GTX 680(1398/7308 MHz) capable of running this game on ultra with textures set to fade touched and FXAA,at 1080p and maintain at least 30fps?
If not then i'll wait for big maxwell to be released.I refuse to play a game on anything less than the maximum settings and i am not going to buy a midrange card.(900 series)
rest of my specs:
i7 3930k@5Ghz(will absolutely destroy this game lol)
64GB RAM@2133Mhz(overkill but this PC is not just for gaming)
edit:
BTW the gtx 680 has 4GB of VRAM.
A friend of mine just told me he's running the game on Mobility Radeon 7670m on low settings without any issues. If anyone is wondering.
Despite a few minor crashes in various menus (most often: options, occasionally gets stuck on load game option). once I get into the game I am able to play it seamlessly. So for my purposes, it works! Yay.
Also, I'm playing with all my settings on ultra with no problems.
Specs in case anyone is interested:
Intel Core i5-3317U CPU, 1.7ghz
RAM: 6144MB
DirectX: Version 11
Graphics: Intel R HD Graphics 4000 & NVIDIA GeForce 740 M
Windows 8.1
Help much appreciated!

Sorry, I don't think that'll work
Could you possibly say what specifically is lacking? Is it the graphics card?

The GPU seems like the biggest problem, but the CPU is under the minimum spec as well since it's only 2.0 GHz, rather than the 2.5 required for AMD CPUs
Honestly though, if I can play it on a laptop with 1.7 GHz and a dual core with hyperthreading, and Intel R HD Graphics 4000 & NVIDIA GeForce 740 M....
I think they'll be fine.

Do you think there's any chance it could work on minimum settings?
Well, your GPU is quite a bit better I think.Honestly though, if I can play it on a laptop with 1.7 GHz and a dual core with hyperthreading, and Intel R HD Graphics 4000 & NVIDIA GeForce 740 M....

I guess it might be worth trying if you've got it from somewhere with a generous return policy
Alright, thanks for your help both of you. I really appreciate it.
So, im currently playing on 360 but im thinking of switching to PC on friday, however all the problems i see people having are getting me really concerned, so the question is, should i even try?
Windows 7 64 bit
Palit GTX 660 OC 2GB DDR5
4GB RAM
AMD Athlon 2 X4 640 3.0GHz
EDIT: and i should mention, the only thing im looking for is a solid 30fps with settings on medium/low and meshes on high and 1080p
Hi, I need some advice. I've already pre-ordered for xbox360, but during the summer I got a new computer and I've only just had an epiphany and realised that I could run this game on my pc, I believe.
Questions are:
Is it worth changing my pre-order for a deluxe copy?
Are the graphics much better on pc than the xbox360?
Would I be able to connect up to my pc an adaptable 360 controller?
And finally, I've heard that you actually can't get scars on the xbox360, but on the pc you can?
My pc system:
Windows 7, 64bit operating.
Intel core5 - 3.5GHz.
Graphics - NVIDIA GTX 750.
Memory - 8MB.
Any advice would be welcome
I really like the Dragon Age series, and want the graphics to be good but not at a loss toward the gameplay experience of it.

Earlier someone posted they are ok with a phenom ii 830 (which is similar to yours; the 830 has level 3 cache but is also 200mhz slower than your 640).
I would let you know my experience (I have a phenom ii 3.2ghz) but I'm in the uk so I don't get the game until Friday. If you want to wait 'til then I can tell you. I also have a gtx 660.
GeForce GT 540M
Intel Core I7-2630qm @2.00GHz
8.00 GB RAM
Will this be able to run it?
I don't need high graphics, I just want an enjoyable experience

You seem to be running similar specs to me, so I hope to high heaven it works for you.
Best of luck!

Thank you so much for the reply, I pre-ordered for PS3, but I'd rather not play it on last gen.
I think I'll change my pre-order tomorrow.
How well does your game run?

I only have crashing issues with the options menu. After changing a few things it would freeze and I'd have to control-alt-delete and restart. (Work around: change two or three options at a time and save your changes until you crash. Then just reload and your saves will be intact.)
But I can play the game smoothly on high or ultra options (once I got those changed and in place) with no stutters or crashes.
Be very patient with loading screens. As long as the logo is still blinking or the music is playing, you're okay. Just don't touch anything, wait patiently, and then click continue as soon as you're given the option. (Mine will crash if I let it sit on the main menu for too long).
Decided - I'm changing my pre-order from 360 to pc. I need the scars and higher graphics ![]()

Its been posted on a similar build that it could run it, yet i can get past the saving screen after the bioware logo.
