And this is what happens:
If you're low on time, just skip to 8 minutes or something, but it's much, much better if you view the entire thing and have the suspense build up.
Hmm.. so why doesn't this turn into a vid in the topic? fixed![]()
So this guy opens an old Magic: the Gathering alpha starter set

I know nothing of this Magic thing, but I can tell that chap was happy! His hands were even trembling.

It's like this: the guy's opening an 11 year old (!) set of cards just for the heck of it. Anything in there is pretty much valuable because not many cards were printed, so it's pretty special in itself to have an upopened set like this.
And then he finds the most valueble card in the entire game. Probably the most valueable card in all trading card games. It's more than a year's worth of salary for a lot of people.
It's some expensive ass ink.
Only 1100 of these were printed.

I wonder how much he paid for the set in the first place... I can't imagine people selling that stuff on auction very cheap..

I doubt he payed anything for it, seeing as he's giving the common cards away for free.

That's cool and all, but aside from the value and rareness it's not that amazing for people who don't play the game.
I mean I have old unopened poker decks that are five times as old in my attic somewhere

When I was 16 years old an uncle of mine gave me his old comic book collection. I was really into comic books back then. As he gave me just one small box I didn't actually look at for a few weeks. When I did opened I I NEARLY fainted in real life. This is just a few of what was in the box.
Amazing Spiderman #1-5
Conan #1-10
Avengers #'s 1-10
Giant Size X-men #1
Vampirella (Warren) #1
Iron Man #1
Silver Surfer - Entire First Run
Have them all under lock and key now.

Back in the days of the Yu-Gi-Oh craze, I had a Jinzo.
A kid wanted to trade his new Game Boy Advance SP for just that card. Stupid a kid as I was back then, I said no.
Should have taken the Game Boy.

I have never had them graded (as I am qualified to do that myself) so I don't know what their real value is. But I have my whole collection insured for well over a million dollars.
