So did I, but I also met my fair share of outright horrible people.

I met a lot of very nice people on the old BSN forum.
Me too. Problem is I don't recognize half of them anymore with all the name changes.
Everyone should have in their signature "The BSNer formerly known as...." just to clarify. So sayeth Fast Jimmy!

I was a very nasty person full of angst back then.

I wasn't on the old BSN, But I'd like you to tell me about him if you don't mind because when i first joined, A mod told me that he thought i was an alt account of a banned user. And me and that guy have a lot of similarities. Well, Except for the Cyber-Stalking.

If I recall correctly he left BioWare, and hasn't been involved with the forums for quite some time. Probably similar to the ever evil Chris Priestly.
IIRC, Priestly is now the Community Manager for CDPR's English Division or something. Weird how that works out.

One thing I do miss about the old forums was the 'Mass Effect is not a real RPG compared to Pokemon' thread.
I miss a lot about the old forums, actually.
We used to ****** about how technologically behind it was (and it was), but the looser moderation style led to a more chaotic and organic forum experience. Less of a hugbox than this place, which is better programmed with good forum features (though less social features) but a much more sterile environment due to bot modding, heavily enforced moderation, etc.
I understand BioWare wants a cleaner public image than when their own forums are filled with people shitting on their games or posting quote pyramids and spam threads, but forums by nature have a very low signal to noise ratio and everyone who posts on this forum is a degenerate. Once these assumptions are taken into account, it's much easier to have a fun time, provided your idea of fun isn't a straight up fanboy/fangirl hugbox or news repository. Thank God for the Off-Topic section or this forum would be completely worthless (to me, I acknowledge others see it differently).

Well, I really like Miranda too, And sometimes, I can reach the level of obsession too. Also, my first avi was Miranda, So I guess that makes sense. ![]()

Surely Not as far as that guy, I just keep talking about her and her characteristics a lot if I'm in the mood. And I have surely romanced other ME LI(s).

Don't even compare the two. Based Bunz would never obsess over virtual women. He takes half naked selfies in public toilets like a real man.

Woah, seriously? From Bioware to teh Witcher. The Witcher clan here must love him to bits.
And I just want to say, I agree wholeheartedly. So many people gone because Bioware decided they didn't want to be a "social network" anymore.

The reaction to ME3's endings in March of 2012. Nothing else compares...on any gaming forum. Ever.
That was definitely a frantic time. For me personally, it involved my departure and rebirth (as an ANGEL!).

BSN will never be as fun, interesting and full of lulz and trolls as it was during the ME3 ending fiasco days. This forum was one of the, if not, the most interesting gaming site for a very, very long time when it was in full swing. The sheer number of rustled jimmies was astonishing.
