I'm all about Cullen x Leliana, they seem to be the unpopular one though.
Cass and Cullen have too similar backgrounds (templars, soldiers etc.) to me.. and Josie seems to nice (lol). I'd love to see Josie with Vivi or Sera..
Tbh, I would also have said Cullen and Leliana, but that seemed to annoy a lot of people who had romanced Leliana the last time I mentioned it...

I am not so sure. I mean Aveline hooked up with Donnic who was a nobody. Sebastian was a DLC character and the amount of flirtations between bethany and him were huge.

See, I get the opposites attract thing, but I always was more of a birds of a feather type of girl. I feel opposites work better the closer you are within a group. Take the BSN for example, we are all Dragon Age fans and the arguing on here and viewpoints are wide and varied and often heated, able to flicker on fairly easily. Most people who say, prefer Non-fiction novels to video games will just nod. So I like CassxCullen because the slight differences accent them more. Same for JosiexVivienne, CadashxSera, Iron BullXAdaar, TrevalyanxJosie I like how similiarities bring out differences, but I totally realize I am different in that.

I'm a big fan of these type of interactions. It makes sense for a character to think, "Well, if the Inquisitor doesn't reciprocate my feelings, I'll find someone else who will," because that's what people do in real life when it doesn't work out with who they were originally interested in.
Anyway, I want flirting (or maybe more) between unromanced Dorian and unromanced Iron Bull so bad it hurts.

I wouldn't mind but devs said that she can be in active relationship and they didn't wanted touch that but i can't see her with cullen rather divine despite she is pretty much dead.
I was disappointed that Bethany went from being curious about being with women sexually in her conversations with Isabela to randomly getting hot for prince boring AKA Sebastian in the DLC's

In the same way Hespith and Marjolaine are. Murdering your lovers family and being generally racist toward her counts, but so does all those other crazy lesbians in fiction that are deemed more safe in the 1800s because it was a warning of what not to do. Tons of stories like that in old timey times. hard to give someone kudos for it.

I think it's more about the fact that Bethany had showed some s/s interest and then became all hot and bothered over Seb. To be honest, though, I'm not 100% confident on my Bethany information because I've only played a single playthrough where she's made it out of Lothering. Does she show any other o/s interest? If not, then people might be disappointed that a character who appeared to be lesbian (or at least more interested in f/f), of whom there are not many, was revealed to be actually another gal more interested in guys, of whom there are already many. I don't think anyone has an issue with her being bisexual or being attracted to men, just disappointed that there seemed to be a missed opportunity since she was curious about Isabela and that could have been explored a bit (and wasn't).
ETA: Just to clarify, I'm not stating definitively that Bethany was bisexual, lesbian, or any other orientation. I'm just spit-balling here.
i'm a lesbian. I can call a man handsome or attractive. there has never been one to get my energy jerkin to call them 'hot'. So...no for me on that one.
The thing about Bethany is about Seb being a male. It always seems that a character can't just be interested in women in these games. There always seems to HAVE to be "well I like women but this man right here...". I guess it is a serious disconnect for me and rubs me wrong because it makes it seem like no matter what, they have to exist for the male gaze...and I do not identify with that. Because EYE do not exist for the male gaze. There is no grey area with me...I love women. Period.
We'll see how they handle Sera. I have hope.

For all intents and purposes it may have well never happened for how much it impacted anything at all; So you claiming disconnection because of a single loose comment, years before even admiring Sebby doesn't make much sense to me.

Which truth be told; could have meant nothing at all in the grand scheme of things, if that was such a world shattering revelation to her perhaps it should have been brought up in the future.

So your issue with this seems to stem from YOUR issue with this, and not much else.
Which truth be told falls apart if you apply even the flimsiest of logic to it but...people find odd things offensive all the time.
Unless I missed a conversation, I don't think one or two lines of banter used to show that Bethany was a sheltered innocent are nearly enough to draw any conclusions other than that she is a sheltered innocent.
