The thing of it is Bethany never expresses anything beyond scattered curiosity which is brought up all of one time.
For all intents and purposes it may have well never happened for how much it impacted anything at all; So you claiming disconnection because of a single loose comment, years before even admiring Sebby doesn't make much sense to me.
Bethany wasn't a Lesbian who went all googoo for a man; She was a heterosexual lady who expressed minor interest in possibly considering a differing angle on intercourse in a single conversation in act 1. Which truth be told; could have meant nothing at all in the grand scheme of things, if that was such a world shattering revelation to her perhaps it should have been brought up in the future.
It wasn't.
So your issue with this seems to stem from YOUR issue with this, and not much else.
Which truth be told falls apart if you apply even the flimsiest of logic to it but...people find odd things offensive all the time.
I'm gonna try not to be defensive in this response to you in particular because i've saw your interaction with people on here and beyond this response, I will not speak to you again. I'm real like that. That's not hostility...that's truth.
I do not know what Bethany's sexuality is. I never made the claim of that but from traipsing around Kirkwall with her and Izzy most of the time, they talked and she mentions something about women and some interest. it's not definitive...just a small hint and then suddenly Sebastian shows up and we never heard any of that again. to be fair, I know she practically disappears after Act 1 so I can lend it to that (though Izzy still writes her...curious things).
Point is, I am simply saying if there is any inkling of a character being interested in same sex, and mostly this happens with women because m/m isn't as visible for some reason, they immediately follow it with throwing something opposite sex in there. Like...can't they just either Be curious or Be with women without THAT every time? That's a pattern. it's not imagined and lots of people can attest to that. that's the perspective I am coming from.
