I used to ship Dorian/Vivienne because they have style, so much style Thedas would've been overrun by demons until one of them decides what to wear on a first date.

For posterity!
Zevran: Here, take that templar fellow. Rugged good looks, quick wit, manly shoulders... just getting him to hop borders is a challenge worthy of great heroes!
Alistair: A challenge? I'd happily hop borders, given the chance. I've never even been close to leaving Ferelden!

Varric and Leliana. Two of the best characters together.

Yeah, I'm not sure how anyone can blame Carver for following his blatant character arc of finding some way to make his own name and get out of his sibling's shadow. And joining the Templars was such an obvious decision, especially after he finds out he's named for one.
And, as a Templar, that's clearly (to me) who Carver patterns himself after. The original Ser Carver, who believed that not all mages need to be segregated.
If I had to describe what type of Templar Carver would be, I'd call him a "Nevarran Accord" Templar, who views mages as charges to be protected rather than prisoners to be watched. He seemingly made enough of an impression to rise quickly through the ranks, but I expect that, had things gone differently with Act 3, he would have eventually found the leadership of the Kirkwall Circle incompatible with his beliefs and asked for a transfer.
On topic: I still want Iron Bull to express unrequited love to an oblivious or uncaring Sera.

It wasn't sense. I'd actually respect him if he knew what he was doing. He was just a moron blinded by the possibility of being the emperor of Orlais (which he wasn't going to be anyway).Least Cailan had the sense to sellout to Orlais.

Those templars existed only in Thrask's conspiracy. No templar who followed the Annulment deserves any sort of positive recognition.

I think I'm one of the few who actually doesn't like the idea of Bull/Dorian. While Dorian is going to be my main pairing and will most likely romance IB at some point too, that's not why. I just... don't like it. Josie/Cullen and Josie/Sera I could get behind. Harding/Varric maybe, but I'm still holding out for Varric/Bianca.

Regardless how it'll end, I'm pretty sure Varric's plot in DAI will be around Bianca.

Lucky day, then, since Carver doesn't follow the Annulment unless you ask him to, and he thinks you're crazy if you support it.

No. This would be far too easy and Varric would recognize Harding if she was secretly Bianca.

Haha, personally I'm not a fan of them when it happens to my favourite LI as it makes me feel like I'm just second fiddle, breaking up the real canon couple and the feeling they express don't feel as earnest. I guess I'm a little bit of a hypocrite though because at the same time I can enjoy it sometimes when it happens to others lol. So overall I'm mostly a fan of casual flirting between them or more hookups as opposed to actual full blown relationships, but if they did happen I've always liked the sound of Josie/Sera in a sort of almost odd couple sort of way. Iron Bull/Dorian is I agree a good one, I wouldn't argue with at hook up hehe..like others have suggested a little bit of flirting on Dorians side towards Cullen would also be awesome haha. Actually I pictured Cullen/Cassandra as a pretty cute couple potentially...or Cass/Blackwall could be interesting. I've never though of Cullen/Leliana...seems odd to me, but then again I might be slightly biased as I've never been a huge Leli fan.

From what I have heard, Dorian and Iron Bull at least get along well, so they may have more in common than we know. There is also the fact that there are no other gay characters that we know of, so there aren't any other options... in the case of lesbians, we can at least speculate about Harding and Vivienne, but with gay males, there aren't any known characters who might be available...

This so much! I love Carver, I'm telling you if Hawke had not been his brother I would have romanced him with my male mage!
Right there with you bb. That's why I ship Carver/Everyone. No one should be denied dat booty, or those arms, or those eyes... ahem.

Ha! I just see Leliana in the background, "That was mean, Zevran. He is innocent!"

Tbh I'm kind of hoping that Varric moves on from pining over Bianca, preferably with Harding. I doubt it will actually happen, but the more I think about it, the less I like the idea that he's been holding out hope for a long lost romance for over a decade...

I'd like that too, tbh. I think part of the issue is that we don't actually know what happened to Bianca. Is she dead? Did she just leave and he doesn't know where? Did she leave and happen to die? If she's dead, did Varric wittingly or unwittingly have a hand in it? Without knowing these things it's difficult to judge exactly what form Varric's pining actually is. I'm hoping we'll get some kind of resolution on this in DA:I.
I'd be happy for Varric to move on with someone, though, Harding being one (since we know he's only really into dwarves), and we have precedent for it in Aveline's relationship with Donnic.

I think he leaves at the end when you're confronting Meredith, at the same time as Cullen (and also potentially Fenris if he leaves you), but I might be wrong (he was only a Templar on my first playthrough).

Did he leave Meredith's side at the beginning of The Last Straw?
When you select your party and have your final conversations. He's on about the same level of dissent as Varric or Isabela. He asks if you're crazy, I think, and wants to make sure you know what you're doing.
