So as some of you will know Harding is our head scout and a cute merciless Dwarven woman.  So why not let us peruse a romance with her?  Especially if out Inquisitor is a Dwarf!

The sarcasm is strong, but it's kinda sadly accurate at the same time. 

 

The answer would be, I guess: Because they chose not to make her a companion or a LI. Maybe next time. I'm already on the #HardingforDA4romance train.

She is one of the most beautiful dwarfs in the whole series. Bioware sure loves to troll us by giving us a fierce yet adorable dwarf who is unromancable...

 

It's Sigrun all over again. Atleast we still have Cassandra/Sera as a romance option so it's not all doom and gloom. Cassandra will fill the fierce role and Sera the adorable role

Securing the area surrounding said demons, rogue mages, templars, dragons, or wannabe gods, perhaps? The Emerald Graves aren't going to scout themselves, after all!

So we go on a 'scouting expedition' together. I'm the goddamn Inquisitor, I can scout.
I'm a Dalish hunter, I'm really good at scouting.

If she's as prominent as they make it to be, she could be the NPC we could flirt with. They did say that there is one major NPC we could flirt with.  People begs for a female Qunari constantly for the last 2 years, and now we have a male qunari, if people begs enough for female dwarf, I think we could see a male dwarf romance in the next game.

To be fair, we have no idea about Harding's back story.  She might have a very good reason for not being interested in romance.  Perhaps she's already married.  Perhaps she's a grieving widow.  Perhaps she's a 'duty before all else" type of gal.  Or, perhaps, that's just not the story that they wanted to tell with her.  Don't get me wrong:  I'm in favor of awesome dwarf ladies and I'm definitely in favor of dwarf romance, but I don't know if we know enough about her to even know if she's the type of gal who would be interested in romance.

My biggest guess is they didn't want to have to code for the size differences during a romance with a dwarf. That's the reason why Iron Bull almost wasn't one.

Than make her a race-locked option, we have them, race lock her to dwarves so they get more love, or just dwarves and elves (not that I have any particular interest in including elves)

daveliam I agree with ya.  But seeing as she is the only female Dwarf other than Sigrun we have really seen it is fun to speculate.

They would already have done these though.  The female/Male Dwarf Inquisitor can romance humans elves and Quinari... Ironically the only thing they did not need to animate was Dwarf with Dwarf...

She should definitely be an LI, she seems pretty awesome from what we know so far.  Hopefully she will be an LI when the first Expansion comes around!
