It violates Bioware's evident policy regarding making awesome dwarven rogues (Sigrun, Varric, Harding) listening to the outcry for romance options, and laughing, before adding in another blonde human.
Well I really don't know much about Harding, but so fell in love with Sigrun.
I don't know, maybe it is too hard to remake the 'scenes' using a dwarf female or something. Just really hate it. Another missed opportunity here:

She's the leader of all my scouts, probably regularly reporting directly to Leliana, and under special occasions directly to you.
It'd be more like asking to romance Joker, or EDI in ME2.

I'd say she'd be more likeI think she's more like Traynor or Chambers, providing regular useful information, occasional insight. Joker and Edi were only required to talk to under special circumstances.

Well we can't be sure until we actually play the game, but I'm just saying I would want them to bump up her importance until we had a full romance. I don't want a crappy Chambers thing. I want us to hang out, sniping templars and stuff. Then we Shoot out the Elder god's eyes, and Unleash the Bull, preferably with Cassandra dragoning her way in 1/2 way through.
I think she'll be a recurring character, not a main character or minor character. We'll see a lot of her, but she won't be overly important to any section of the plot, you know? Chances are she'll be doing her own thing in her own life and we'll get hints of that and a chance to flirt, but it will never be too in-depth.

IMO they shoulve dropped pointless filler characters like the Iron Bull, Blackwall or Vivienne to get a romanceable dwarf in there

Still holding out for a dwarven romance. It's the only non-romanceable playable race so far. Gotta happen in DA4

I want a female dwarf LI more than anyone, but we literally know nothing about her besides the fact that she's awesome.
Aside from having an accent is there a better reason to want to romance someone?
Haha,, well...I mean, there may be a very good reason we can't. What if she's married? Or aroace? Or we don't interact with her enough to justify one? Or she dies early? Or she's Flemeth? Or she's a secret agent of the Elder One? Or...okay, I'm going off the deep end here, but that's more of what I'm saying...not personality stuff, but inherent character/plot stuff!
Granted. But even if every one of those things it true. Why couldn't Bioware have changed it so she WAS romanceable? lol I just really like her and am tired of getting trolled by Bioware (In a good way)
Harding is gonna be the Aveline of DAI we will get to flirt with her and most likely she will break the Inquisitors heart now if she will kiss the Inquisitor or not thats still up in the air.
She is one of the most beautiful dwarfs in the whole series. Bioware sure loves to troll us by giving us a fierce yet adorable dwarf who is unromancable...
It's Sigrun all over again. Atleast we still have Cassandra/Sera as a romance option so it's not all doom and gloom. Cassandra will fill the fierce role and Sera the adorable role
Its quite a shame since Scout Harding would be both fierce and adorable at the same time. Much sad.
I think this is the kind of question that people will ask endlessly, simply because they want something. It reminds me of how almost every post that Dragon Age makes on Facebook, someone will ask about dual wielding warriors. For whatever reason, they chose to go in another direction, warriors can't dual wield anymore and you can't romance Harding, Varric, Sten, Aveline, Sigrun, etc... if that breaks the game for you, so be it.
There is nothing wrong with wanting for it, but it seems unlikely to change. I'm sure the devs appreciate the feedback, though.
this reminds me I wonder what happened to Crossbows, bows and Dwarves look.... weird to me.
