I'm wondering if she's the as of yet un-named "fling" romance option. Though that would simply result in me pining over what cannot be more than a one-night stand I guess hahaha.

Maybe bioware hates small people or maybe she just hates you.

She is voiced by Ali Hillis, the voice actress who voices Lightning from Final Fantasy.

And it seems like one of the voice options for the human Inquisitor is Ali Hillis. In this video:

... it really seems like it's the same voice actress in the dialog between Harding and the Inquy. The Inquy has a British accent, though. If I could get some confirmation that it really is Ali, I guess I could end up choosing to play as a human. And if she is also available for Elves, that'd be even better.

Anyone knows?

So as some of you will know Harding is our head scout and a cute merciless Dwarven woman.  So why not let us peruse a romance with her?  Especially if out Inquisitor is a Dwarf!

Because she actually does important work for the inquisition unlike some companions who is there just to look pretty.

Probably because if Bioware made every character that people liked/wanted a romance option, you would be able to jump into bed with 99% of the characters in their games (the exception being, perhaps, Arl Howe), so they needa draw the line somewhere... From what I've seen she seems pretty awesome though so I understand why you'd want to romance her, OP :P (I'm still sulking ever so slightly that Kal'Reegar was not romanceable in Mass Effect, because... that voice...)

Female British accent is voiced by Alix Wilton Regan and female American accent is voiced by Sumalee Montano. :)

And yeah, Alix Wilton Regan voiced Traynor in ME3.

I wholeheartedly support Dwarfmance.

I'd prefer a long-hair Sigrun first, but I'll take Harding as well. Dwarf-gate 'em.

Yeah, it's kinda sad that there aren't any dwarf romances, male or female.. At least i'm hoping she's a flirt.

I support this as well. Harding looks awesome.
Im surprised the dwarves are done so well in Inquisition that i think i will try to play one myself.
However I think we're not going to get a dwarfmance any time soon. I understand the potential reason may be Bioware being careful with what they show in romance scenes. The females do look like they are 12-14. There may be media backlash or something.
On the contrary, a dwarf female (who looks 12-14) can easily romance IB, Blackwall, Josie and Sera. And IB with dwarf girl is scary. Maybe it comes down to a player choice so its a 'safer' option. For example if a player chooses to play a character that looks like a child its their choice and Bio can hardly be accused of promoting stuff that silly media likes to come up with to discredit a good game. As in the company cant be responsible for what the player does. On the other hand if company creates such character with appropriate romance content - thats different story.
Eh, my head begins to hurt, too much thinking

Considering there are companies who have no problem putting little girls (but it's okay because they're a billion years old~) as a romance or in sexy outfits in their game *cough Scarlet Blade cough Tera cough Fire Emblem Awakening cough* I don't think age is a problem. I'm guessing it's more to do with that they're not part of the media-popular beauty standard with them being more short and stout (which is why I found it a little worrying that we looked more slim in DA:I).

Maybe, it was the first thought that sprung to my mind when I thought about why cant we have dwarves. Bioware got slack from media before (ME1) and still gets it. I think with the games you mention this fact is mostly being ignored or not stressed out. I get the feeling that Bio however is watched more closely. But Im not an expert on this and Im just speculating from the bits Ive seen. Correct me if Im wrong.

To be honest I like dwarves in DA:I more. I agree they do conform to popular beauty standard now more than they did in DAO, but I wasnt fond of elongated arms. I tried playing dwarf girl but couldnt, she just seemed off. I generally play short skinny elves so i dont mind height difference and I like to play small cute protagonists, but DAO dwarves just seemed wrong to me somehow. Now I think I'm becoming a dwarf fan. :D
