If you are a male who genuinely feels sexually insecure or getting that "Eeew!!!" feeling over seeing other male genitalia, then here is some advice for you. Stop directing unresolved emotional issues rooted in personal sexual frustration outwards in the form of anger and hate. It wont cure you, only anger a lot of people due to your inability to deal with your own emotions. It makes you look weak, not tough.

Second. If you want nudity that bad from the women in the game, expect the same from males for equality. Unless you are of course - selfish and unable to put yourself in other people's shoes.

As a straight male gamer seemingly "fighting for women's rights" here, that does not make me a feminist (is that even an insult? Im not sure what a feminist is because I never paid attention to it and I've heard different views). This makes me a human looking for justice for other humans. I couldnt really care about gender, but all people deserve equal and fair treatment.

Hmmm... the eyes seeing what the heart wills them to?  :) I've had that happen a time or two.

My Shepard was pretty sexy. Maybe Bioware made an exception for him...*checks youtube* hmm, seems like I mistook Ash's butt for Shepard's. :o  Gahhh.

Nope. I just went back and rewatched it to be sure.  Ashley shows butt and side-boob.  Shepard shows knee and shoulder.  They pan up before he rolls on top of her, so you only see his shoulder and face.  Then, Ashley wakes up naked (implied) and Shep's already dressed.

In TW2, Geralt was never shown naked.  Tiss?  Fully nude (breasts, rear, and pubic region). Geralt?  Shirtless at most.  If they did create the nude Geralt model, they subbed it out.

I just checked the bath scene and Geralt does seem to be naked later on, but they conceal pretty much everything that's not his chest.

Spoiler

(Don't worry, no breasts in there)

You can see his hip and the beginning of his butt and I'm pretty sure the pants he wears otherwise should already have been visible at that height. It's definitely not enough to qualify as equal treatment, but what they're showing is quite bold compared to what's out there and I still commend them for that. Hopefully it's a step in the right direction.

Has this thread totally ruined your figurative childhood?

Oh good! I was... really worried.

Yes. :crying: Whatever will I fantasize about now that I don't have Shepard's butt? It was the reason I was excited about the sex scene in the first place!

Well, breasts can be pretty intimidating. Don't want innocent BSN-ers to fear they will get jumped by Triss' boobies on here.

1.) And you're still putting the "why" for their choices in their heads without actually knowing why they made a choice. You're guessing.

2.) Well this is the Internet. I shouldn't be surprised.

1) It's an inference. It's perfectly reasonable to draw conclusions about views from actions.

2) Saying "I don't respect this view because I find it hypocritical" is one of the most polite ways one can express a fundamental disagreement. There is a difference between respecting the view and respecting the right of a person to express their views.

I, for one, am hopeful we will get to see MUCH more "nakie time" in DA:I. I just don't think it would make sense to include Nudity (rather than Partial Nudity) as one of the reasons for it's M rating otherwise.

There's a fine line between inferring and putting words in others' mouths. Judging by the amount of evidence you have presented thus far, I believe you pulled the latter.

In my experience, lack of respect for a point of view indicates a lack of ability to empathize with unfamiliar circumstances, cultures, or ways of thinking.

Personally, I think I prefer ME1's approach to "nakie time". It was very classy and cinematic, leagues above what was seen in DA1 and DA2. I'm not really sure about ME3's love scene but that's because I've only done a single playthrough where my FemShep romanced Garrus.

I'm having a hard time seeing in that picture and can really look further at the moment, so I can't say either way. If he isn't wearing pants, then I retract my statement that he's always wearing pants. Either way, though, my statement that he's never shown naked stands. What we see in the picture isn't nudity. I don't think it's bold at all but, if he's at least out of pants, it's a step (tiny minuscule step) in the right direction.
