In DA2, each companion had a "unique" specialization that suited his/her thing.

 

So far, in the gameplay demos, it seems each companion will reflect one of the nine specializations that the Inquisitor has.

 

CONFIRMED:

 

Cassandra - Templar

Varric - Artificer

Solas - Rift Mage

 

 

 

Which leaves us with the six other companions. Allow me to hazard some speculation here:

 

For the Warriors, I would say Blackwall is a champion (gray warden and all), while Iron Bull is a reaver.

 

For the Rogues, Cole seems to be the best fit for an assassin, while Sera, the Wildcard, is a knack for being the Tempest.

 

Mages are a little trickier just because I can't imagine either Dorian or Viv being neither a Necromancer or a Knight Enchanter.

Dorian has been confirmed to be a necromancer since the day his writer interview was posted.  Vivienne is the Knight Enchanter.

 

The rest of your assignments are correct based on the information shown thus far.

Iron Bull is a Reaver and Sera is a Tempest as revealed during the E3 gameplay trailer.
