BTW I don't find this game extreme, I just find it incredibly stupid and it looks repetitive. God knows there's a hundred more [unknown] games like this. This is only known because it was built on the Unreal engine and is now being given the spotlight by journalists for its edginess and controversy it will spew. It looks like a crap game and will probably play like one, there was never a need to bring it to everyone's attention.

In theory there's nothing wrong with this game.

 

In practise, there's a whole lot wrong with certain people, and if they play this game I'm not looking forward to what might happen.

Exactly. If that tripe is allowed to be released then why not this? Let it release and fail and fall into obscurity like so many other games which freaked the media out in the past have done.

I'm just going to wait for the inevitable debate on whether this game would cause more amok runs because it desensitivizes, or if it causes less amok runs because potential amok runners now have a way to vent their frustration in a fictional environment where it doesn't hurt anyone.

Sadly, whatever poor kid has parents who take Fox seriously will be discouraged from playing games. That's the real tragedy. You just end up screwing young gamers over.

Yeah but that was gonna happen regardless of this game being a thing or not.

 

The only thing that we can really do is wait until they all move onto the next thing they're going to blame everything bad on.
